"REGULUS ARCTURUS BLACK"
Something, or maybe everything, about Otto Bagman bothers me.
There is nothing interesting about him and he's got nothing going on in his head except for Quidditch. He's also boring and his hair looks funny.
I don't like him.
And I certainly don't understand why on earth Carina agreed to go on a date with him.
I mean, the guy asks if she likes Quidditch, then proceeds to consider playing a Quidditch game, as a date. I'm half convinced she only agreed to go out with him because he's the first guy to have asked her out.
Quite frankly, I don't really care who she dates or hooks up with and what not. I just think there's better choices out there than him.
I'm only looking out for her, since we are sort of friends now.
I guess you could say, she's like a replacement for Evan, who, to my greatest pleasure, has been annoying me a lot less ever since he started dating again.
Yet, on top of everything, Evan still managed to get on my nerves by having me switch groups with him for Charms. Carina? Fine. Her blonde friend, Pandora? Also alright. Otto? Why. Who decided this pairing was a good idea?
And now, we're all forced to sit here and listen to his hideous face blah-blah-blah-ing away about, who knows what.
Does he ever stop talking?
"Staring is rude you know." Carina whispered to me, interrupting my thinking.
I simply looked at her. She looked somewhat amused and raised an eyebrow at me in question.
I turned my attention back to Otto, continuing to glare at him.
Nope. I still don't like him.
I heard Carina snort beside me.
"What?" I asked, not looking at her.
Maybe if I stare at him long enough, his head will explode.
"You look like you're hoping for his head to blow up or something." Carina whispered, leaning closer to me.
"That's exactly what I'm hoping for." I whispered back.
"Well, don't stare too hard or your eyeballs might fall out and then you'll be all creepy looking with empty holes in your head and we'll have to sew buttons onto your eyes and you'll be all Frankenstein-esque." she rambled, causing me to smile.
I took a break from staring at Bagman's mop of a head to glance at Carina.
She was staring back, trying and failing to suppress a grin.
