I wake up, no Ellie.

I try my hardest to stand up.

I pull myself up by the pipes in the wall and stand straight, pain running through me.

I see Joel wake up.

Joel: Ellie? Where is she?

You: I'm going after her. You stay.

Joel: Find her.

You: I will, trust me. Stay put, I hear people outside.

*Timeskip*

I have a bandit tied up.

???: Y-Your mask...You're the FireFlyHunter...

He's upside down, all tied up.

You: Where is the girl?

I demand.

???: W-What girl?

I fucking punch his stomach as hard as I could.

He's winded.

You: I'M NOT FUCKING AROUND!

He begins crying, breathing heavily after regaining it.

???: David has her! It's his newest pet!

I take the infected tied up to wall and stab its arm. The blade is bloody as I feed the handle into the FireFly mouth. I let the infected go as I grab its neck and bring it close to the face of the FireFly.

You: Mark it.

I pull out the map as he begins muffling screams, the infected trying to rip his flesh from a short distance.

He dots it and spits it out as I grab the blade.

???: ITS THERE, I SWEAR, I'M SORRY PLEASE DON'T DO THIS.

You: What did you do to her?

???: I THINK SHE JUST GOT HURT A BIT, SHE SHOULD BE ALIVE PLEASE DON'T-

I let go of the infected as he begins screaming and the infected begins ripping off his flesh. I turn around and walk away.

You: I'll kill you all for hurting her.

*Timeskip*

I arrive at the town and crawled in through the broken gate.

After sneaking and killing many, I arrive at a restuarant thats on fire.

I see a man that looks familiar next to a little girl.

I slide over to the man.

He looks at me slowly.

David: Cutter...

You: I know you?

I look above to see Ellie, breathin heavily.

David: YOU KILLED HIM!

He immediately pushes me away and grabs the nearest bottle that he slams across my face.

I feel myself passing out, taking glances at him getting ontop of Ellie and trying to choke her out.

I immediately stand up, not minding pain but Ellie grabs a machete and begins hatching him uncontrollably.

I pull her off as she still tries to hatch him.

Ellie: DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME!!

You: It's me! Stop, Ellie!

I hold her still until she stops struggling and drops the machete.

She hugs me close and begins crying non-stop.

You: I'm here...It's ok.

Ellie: I was so scared...He tried to-

You: It's ok, now.

Ellie: Y/N...

We rock back and forward as she digs her face into me and cries.

She puts her face next to mine as our cheeks touch and we pull close.

*Timeskip*

This sucks.

Walking.

Such a drag.

Everything was quiet until a FireFly popped out the forest.

We point our guns at him.

???: I know you 3. About a old man, and 2 young kids.

Joel: Cutter...Get him.

I Joel shoots his shoulder as I run into with a tackle.

I get on top and point my gun at him.

???: Why did you do this? WHY?!

You: She owes me a kiss.

I shoot, the shot deafening me for a second.

I stand up.

You: Lets go before infected come.

I hear whimpering to my right.

Joel: Ignore it, Y/N.

You: I don't know, Joel...

Joel: Y/N-

You: Wait here.

I leave and go to the whimpering.

I see a huge white wolf. Blood all over it's pawns and around it's jaw.

But...

It's dead.

I see a baby kub next to it, snatched in a small bear trap, next to an infected thats trying to eat it thats also trapped in a bear trap.

I step on the head of the infected.

The baby kub looks at me and whimpers.

I kneel next to it as I reach my hand to the trap, it tries to bite me.

I retract, only to go in again.

I put both my hands on the trap as I pull it apart and the kub puts its paw away.

I throw the trap behind me as it has its leg raised, hurt with red around its white paw.

I get my backpack and pull out a bandage.

The baby wolf taps its mother, whimpering.

You: She's dead, little shit.

It looks at me, whimpering.

You: I relate, don't worry.

I take off my backpack as I reach in and pull out raw meat. I slowly extend my arm for it to take.

I slowly pet it as it eats.

The wolf finishes as it licks my hand. I pick it up slowly. I check under it's body. It's a female white wolf.

You: You'll be ok.

I wrap it's leg, slowly. The bandages finish up as I put the rest in my bag again.

You: Want a name?

I walk away with the wolf.

It licks my hand whilst being in my puffy coat with me holding it up.

You: What name would you want?

She's looks at me, she's tiny and has one ear shorter than the other.

Shes smelling my hand, for scent.

I place her down. I go to walk away.

She runs over and climbs up onto my legs and to my arms, licking my face as she claws my neck.

I pull away, putting her down.

She turns around, walking forward. I don't move, confused.

Theres a huge snarl as I stop in my tracks. There's a huge white wolf.

I slowly back away.
