*Ellie pov*

Jesse: WLF are coming to loot here from the entrance!

I look outside the window, many WLFs all in black are coming towards us looking forward to loot this place.

Jesse: We fight from the windows!

Me: Fine!

I go to a window, pulling out my rifle and waiting for Jesse to shoot first.

After a bit, he shoots and all of them become alarmed, seeing their friend die.

I shoot too whilst Dina comes up behind me.

Dina: I'll take your position!

Me: Ok!

I jump over the window and to the outside entrance as I carry on shooting.

After a bit of shooting, I see someone in the very back get jumped from above as the person stabs him.

The person, in all black and a scary mask, proceeds to stab any person whilst walking uninterrupted.

The person is only focused on us, stabbing anyone in his way with efficiency, clearly not scared and having one goal.

Us.

I see him looking deep into my soul.

*Readers pov*

I stab the back of the head as I keep on walking, looking at the girl at the entrance.

When I get to the middle of the packed place, I pull out a device.

I push the button on it, as everything around me explodes except the middle that I'm standing on.

Dust, mud, cement, body parts, blood, weaponry, clothes and fog go flying.

I slowly come out the dust, looking at the girl.

She looks at me confused as I tilt my head to the left, inspecting her.

Then, a shot rings out and a bullet sways past my ear as I don't move, menacing.

*Ellies pov*

The way he just came out that fog...

This monster is...reminds me of Y/N, especially the mask.

Me: You! Who are you?!

I walk over to him.

Jesse: Get back!

Dina: Ellie!

I look face to face with him.

???: Slasher. Where is my brother?

Is it him? Y/N?...Truly?...

Me:...Y/N.

I creak, tears coming down my face. I hug him tight as he pushes me off, pushing me down and getting ontop of me whjlst putting the knife to my throat.

Y/N: How do you know my name?

I slowly reach my hand over to his mask, slowly taking it off.

It truly is him...

I look at him in the eyes, crying.

He doesn't remember me.

Me: I saw you die...

Y/N: Do I know you? What happened? Where's Abby? Where's Slasher?

I pull him in to a kiss.

*Readers pov*

*Flashback*

The 14 year old girl smiles at me, eating her food whilst she dangles her feet over the huge height.

We sit at the ledge as I crack jokes, bored.

She laughs, pushing my shoulder with a mouthful of food.

You: Joel was so upset, he had the biggest yell-down at Marlene.

She continues to laugh, swallowing her food and looking at me with her beautiful eyes.

She stops laughing, giggling.

Ellie: You are so funny.

You: Joel didn't find it funny.

I crack a small smile, drinking the water.

The scenery was nice, the beautiful sun and best person to joke with.

I'm not catching feelings right? I would be crazy dating a girl like this.

She finishes eating.

Ellie:...Cutter?

You: Yeah?

Ellie: Can I ask a question?

You: Depends.

Ellie:...You know how I'm immune, right?

You: What about it?

Ellie: Why are you doing this for the reward, not to save humanity?

You:...Humanity isn't dead, Ellie. It might have died in me but the world still is alive.

Ellie: What do you mean?

You: Did I say I'm doing this only for the reward? I'm doing this for Joel, Tess, Marlene...

I look down as at her.

You: And you, I guess.

She smiles and blushes.

Joel: Boo!

She yelps, grabbing my arm, scared.

Me and Joel start laughing our heads off as I fall backwards onto my back that makes her fall right next to me.

Ellie looks at me as I'm laughing and at Joel that's also laughing, she herself is slowly starting to chuckle.

*Flashback End*

I pull off the kiss. Remembering everything.

You: Dumbo. I fucking hate to see you.

I joke.

I put my head down on her chest, tired.

She smiles and cries.

Ellie: I saw you die. Jeez...

You: I wouldn't die a pussy. I have unfinished business.

I stand up, picking her up by her forearm and standing her up.

You: Killing Slasher.

Ellie: Who? Is it that weird masked guy? I saw photos.

You: Yeah, thats the guy you saw shoot me. He's Abbys fiance.

Ellie: We need revenge...for Joel.

You: Trust me. The word will get to them that I'm alive.

Ellie: After we kill them? What happens?

You: Me and you, we go back to Jackson.

I hold her hands, looking into her eyes.

You: We get a house, a dog...

She begins crying...is something on her mind?

Ellie:...Y-Yeah.

I pull her face up by putting my finger on her chin and lifting up.

You: Tell me...what's up?

Ellie:...I'm-

Jesse: Y/N. You son of a bitch.
