Mason and Bridgette

I was a Saturday night Bridgette had stayed the night at Masons again last night, she was almost living with him. But he didn't mind at all. Tonight he was taking her out to dinner and she was excited. He told her to dress nicely which she loves to do.

"Bridgette are you almost ready?" He calls to her in the bathroom he was sitting on his bed waiting

The bathroom door flings open and she was putting in her earring "Yeah I'm ready, sorry it's a little hard to get ready in a guys bathroom, there is stuff everywhere." She laughs

He laughs "Oh shut up come on"

They walk out driving to the restaurant.

When they pulled up to a really fancy Italian restaurant along the beach Bridgettes eyes went wide and she looked at Mason. "Were eating here?"

"Yeah, is that okay?" He asks about to get out

"Yes of course, I just didn't expect to come somewhere this fancy" She smiles and they get out

"Well of course, your my lady I'm going to take you somewhere nice for 3 year anniversary" He smiles and takes her hand

"Oh Mason you remembered!" She smiles big she had something for him in her purse, she wanted to believe he remembered that they have been dating for 3 years on this date, but she wasn't sure if he would remember he was really bad with remembering dates.

"Oh course I remembered, how could I ever forget?" He smiles walking in and they get seated

Bridgette shrugs "I don't know, I guess because your a guy and guys tend to forget this stuff."

"Hey! I have never forgot our anniversary." Mason defends himself

"Very true, but I will say this one is already the best just by this restaurant, how can you afford this?" Bridgette asks looking around amazed at how beautiful the restaurant was

"You don't need to worry about it, I have it all taken care of and that is all thats important" He says and takes her hand across the table.

Bridgette smiles and squeezes it lightly.

Mason smiles, they order some whine and fancy pasta dishes

When they get the whine he puts up his glass "For 3 happy years together" Mason smiles and Bridgette puts hers up too "For 3 happy years together" She repeats and they clink glasses and take a sip. They didn't drink much at all especially Mason who only had a sip since he had to drive home.

"Okay, so I have something for you." He smiles and reaches in his pocket pulling out a box

Bridgette smiles "Aw Mason, you didn't have to do all this."

Mason smiles "Oh I know, but I wanted to, open it." He smiles

Bridgette opens it and it was a silver hear necklace and in graved on it was Bridgette and Mason and on the other side was the date they started dating.

Mason looks at her and smiles "Do you like it?"

Bridgette nods crying happy tears "I love it Mason" She never expected him to do something like that

Mason chuckle and wipes her tears with his finger "Don't cry honey."

She chuckles too "I'm sorry this just made me so happy I just wasn't expecting you to get anything fancy for me" she says and wipes her eyes too

"Well I wanted to make it special this year." mason smiles

"Well I'm glad, I have something for you too, but first will you put this on for me?" She asks gesturing to the necklace

"Of course" He walks over and moves her hair out of the way and puts it on her and she turns around "thank you"

"Your welcome" Mason smiles and kisses her, Bridgette kisses back then reaches in her purse

"This is for you." She smiles

"Oh you really didn't have to get me anything." Mason says taking the long box

"Yes I did don't be silly, I mean look what you got me" She smiles looking down at it

Mason smiles and opens the box seeing a nice watch

"I thought you might like it, I saw it and I thought it would be something you would wear."

Mason looks up and smiles "I love it thank you babe." He puts it on and kisses her again

Then their food arrives and they eat and soon finish

"Wow this was such an amazing night Mason" Bridgette says as they walk out

"Well it's not over yet?" Mason smirks

"Really? What else do you have planned?" Bridgette asks questioning

"Well I thought maybe you'd want to take a walk on the beach, watch the sunset?"

"yeah, that would be nice." She smiles and thats exactly what they do.

As the sun was starting to set it was starting to get a little chilly since they were walking right on the ocean Bridgette was getting cold and Mason noticed and took his light jacket and put it over her shoulders and she looked over at him and smiled "Thanks"

"Of course" He smiles and takes her hand again and they keep walking making some small talk.

The sunset looked just perfect when Mason stopped "Why did you stop?" Bridgette looks at him confused

Mason didn't say anything and stood in front of her and reached into his pocket pulling out a little box and getting on one knee.

Bridgette covers her mouth with one hand shocked knowing what he was going to do.

Mason opened the box and held it in one hand and took her other hand "Bridgette Marie Andrews will you marry me?" He asks with a smiles

She nods crying happy tears and then moves her hand "Yes!" She almost yells so Happy

Mason slides the ring on her finger then gets up and picks her up and spins her around and then puts her down and kisses her deeply.

Bridgette kisses back deeply then stops and looks at him "Oh my god Mason I wasn't expecting that at all" She says as tears run down her face

Mason gently wipes her eyes "That was the point." He chuckles

"I love you so much" Bridgette says

"I love you too, I am so happy you said yes"

"I am so happy you asked!" She smiles

They soon walk the rest of the beach talking and then go back to his dorm and lay in bed cuddling

Bridgette was laying in his arms looking at the ring on her hand "I can't believe you actually proposed this ring is just... wow!" She smiles staring at it

Mason just smiles listening to her go on and on he was very happy to be getting married to her, he knew she was the perfect girl for him.
