The Statue of Barbatos, your destination for today.

"Hmm, where is he?"

You arrived upon the time you agreed to meet up on. However, the man you were supposed to meet here, was nowhere to be seen.

You sighed to yourself. Diluc wasn't one to play pranks, but you couldn't help but think that he tricked you into coming here. You couldn't find anything benefitting for him in doing this though.

Diluc was also never late and always early, so it couldn't be that he hasn't arrived yet.

Slightly frowning to yourself, you were about to turn around and leave, when someone called out to you.

"Hold on Ms./Mr. Y/n, I've got something for you!"

A little startled by the sudden call for you, you turned around and came to see Bennett a little further away from you. The boy was rushing up the stairs and almost tripped over his own feet, but he managed to catch his balance before he did fall.

Even though you knew about his luck, you couldn't help but be worried about him.

You rushed over to him and firmly but gently grabbed his shoulders, searching for possible bruises. Bennett didn't fall, but you still wanted to make sure that he's fine.

You let out a breath of relief when you made sure that he didn't get harmed. Smiling at him, you said, "Thank Barbatos, you're not injured! Why were you in such a hurry?"

Bennett scratched his head, a little flustered. He wasn't used to people caring about him, so he felt a certain type of warmth surround his heart whenever anyone genuinely cared for his well-being.

"Ahahaha... I found a letter dedicated to you and thought that I should immediately bring it to you. Maybe it's something important you know?"

"That's still no reason to risk hurting yourself, Bennett!" you scolded him. You've noticed that Bennett didn't seem to care anymore and always put other things before his own safety. And honestly, you didn't like it at all.

But you knew that he would avoid the topic or say that he's used to it if you tried to talk about it, so you dropped it for now and decided to ask about the letter instead.

"Anyway, where did you find it? Do you know who the letter is from?" you asked the boy.

Your curiosity made you ask those questions, even when already suspecting that Bennett probably had no idea who it is from.

"I found it on the stairs and saw you at the top so I just picked it up and ran. Dunno who it is from since I didn't see anyone... Sorry!" Bennett sheepishly apologized to you.

'Guess I didn't see it because I came from the other side... Oh well.'

You thanked Bennett and glanced at the letter in his hands. "So..."
