*4 years later*

"Christian Romano! Get here now!"

True to her wishes, our first child was a boy.

A boy with the looks and personality of me.

I walked upstairs to find my 3 year old son sitting in the middle of the hallway with only a pair of shorts on, his arms crossed over his chest and a pout on his face.

"Hey, Chris." I smiled as I crouched down and held my arms out. As soon as he saw me he ran into my arms giving me a hug.

"Dada, mama is trying to give me a bath." He complained and went to sit back in his spot on the floor.

"Mama is trying to give you a bath because you have been playing outside all day and you are dirty."

I turned around to see Aria walking out of the bathroom. She was dressed in one of my t-shirts and her hair was in a messy bun.

"Hi, baby, sorry I'm so late, Enzo messed up more paperwork, as usual." I got up and placed a kiss on her lips and resting my hand on her protruding stomach.

"No kiss mama." Chris ran up to us, squeezing himself in between our legs.

"Oh, now you want mama's attention, huh?" Aria teased as she picked him up.

"You shouldn't be picking him up, baby, you're 7 months pregnant." I mumbled as I took Christian into my arms.

"oh shush, he's my baby." she pouted as she walked into the bathroom opposite Chris' room.

I followed her, our son still in my arms. Aria was kneeling next to the bath, running her hand through the water to make sure that it wasn't too hot. A maternity summer dress was on floor, showing that Aria had only just gotten changed.

Chris got undressed and got in the tub filled with bubbles. I passed him his plastic boat bath toys and he squealed with glee as I made waves with my hands.

Aria shuffled over to me, leaning her back on my chest and playing with my wedding ring as she hummed a tune.

"What did you do today then, young man?" I turned to my son.

A huge grin spread onto his face as he told me how him and Aria were planting flowers in the garden and that Samuel's son, Marcus came to play as well.

"He got so dirty when we were gardening." Aria laughed, looking lovingly towards our son.

"I bet, the bathwater is practically a pond." I said as Aria started to trace the tattoos across my arms.

"How have you been today, amore?"

"Good." She sighed. "Baby boy is kicking a lot more now, but nothing I haven't had before"

"Okay, but make sure to take it easy, I don't want you hurting yourself."

"Yes, yes, Leo. I know." She mumbled as she started washing Chris' hair.

She wrapped him in a towel and I carried him into his bedroom while tickling his stomach, eliciting giggles out of him the whole way.

"Christian, my favourite grandson!"

"I'm your only grandson, Nonno!" Chris laughed as my father picked him up.

It was Aria and I's wedding anniversary and we had invited all of our family and friends round for a party.

My parents were here, as well as Bria, Sebastian and my twin nieces, Sabine and Charlotte. They were the same age as Christian.

Theo and his wife, Lana were here too. They married almost a year ago which surprised all of us, if I'm honest. Nikolai and Astrid got married a few years ago as well.

"Aria, my favourite human!"

Oh, and Enzo was here too.

Him and Killian recently adopted their son, Max. He was a little younger than the other children but they are all really close.

"Hi, Enzo." She grinned, giving him a side hug.

"How is baby Romano 2.0?" Theo joined the conversation, an arm wrapped around his wife's waist.

"Good." She smiled as she placed her hand on her stomach. "Kicking a lot, but that just means that they're active."

We had decided to keep our baby's gender a secret from everyone until when they were born. We both knew that we were having another little boy, but everyone else was in the dark.

"And are you having another little Leo? Or a baby Aria?"

"We are not telling you guys." My wife laughed as she walked into my outstretched arms. She's been getting tired quicker recently so I'm trying to limit the amount of time she's on her feet.

"Only 7 weeks and then you'll have another baby." My mother gushed as she sat beside Aria on the sofa.

"yeah, I really can't wait to meet them. I know it's going to be a challenge, but I wouldn't wish for anything else in all honesty."

"I have to say, I think we all got super lucky in the husband/wife department." Enzo sighed as he leant against Killian who placed a gentle kiss on his forehead.

"I think we did, to be honest." Astrid mumbled as she looked towards Nikolai who was playing catch with the kids in the garden. "I just wish he wasn't so stressed all the time, he's always worrying about me or the baby-"

"Baby?" Bria screeched at the exact same time as Aria.

Astrid's face turned a deep shade of pink and she sheepishly looked at her husband.

"Yeah. Um, our IVF journey was successful and Astrid's 15 weeks pregnant, we just didn't want to, you know, get our hopes up." Nikolai scratched the back of his neck.

We all knew that they were finding it difficult to get pregnant and they were trying IVF but we had no idea in the slightest that it had worked for them.

"That's so exciting! We'll all be with you the whole way!"

Everyone nodded in agreement at Aria's statement and we all gave them both hugs and well wishes.

"Well now we have lots to celebrate!" Aria squealed, shoving the bowl of crisps she was holding into my hands before pulling Bria and Astrid away with her, Enzo following after them with Lana.

"They really are mental, aren't they?" Theo sighed.

I chuckled, "Yeah, but we love them."
