CHAPTER 6

AUTUMN

Natapos ang klase pagkatapos ng ilang oras. Pumunta ako ng hagdan at bumaba. Hindi na ako pumunta sa silid ni Seldus dahil practice na ng volleyball team pagkatapos ng ilang minutong break. Mayroon pa akong sapat na oras para makain ang simpleng egg sandwich at tanggalin ang makeups sa mga mata ko. Kaya ko namang tanggalin ang contact lenses sa mga mata ko at itago ang salamin.

Pumunta ako ng locker at binuksan ito. I put my books there inside as I removed the rectangular specs. I put the specs inside of my bag as I took the cotton and makeup remover. I wiped it to my eyes while looking at the mirror that I was holding. I removed the eyeliners and the contact lenses as I brushed my hair down. When it became mess like my twin's hair, I smiled at the mirror because I look like him now.

I secretly took the white t-shirt of my brother and shorts of his jersey.

Nakakatulong din pala ang pagiging flat chested.

Pumunta ako sa restroom at mabilisang nagpalit ng damit. Nang makarinig ako ng mga boses ay agad akong tumahimik dahil makikita nila akong lalaki. Sa girls restroom pa naman ako pumasok dahil ito ang malapit kaysa sa boys restroom. At isa pa, kahit naman na magpanggap akong Auvinumn, babae pa rin ako. Bonus na lang talaga ang kamukha ko siya.

"Hahanapin ko pa si Autumn, girls. Miss ko na rin kasi siya. Alam mo naman na galing pa ako ng Baguio. Malamig pa rin doon kahit tag-lagas na." I closed my eyes intently when I heard her voice. That's definitely my friend. She is Naiane Trinidad.

"Sige, Yanie. Aalis na kami, kita na lang ulit sa room," sagot ng isang babae. Narinig ko pa ang pagbuhos ng tubig at na nagmumula sa faucet at nawala rin ito pagkatapos. After few seconds, the door beside me opened so I took the chance of leaving out. I immediately open the door as I went out. When I went out to girls restroom, I took the black cap from my bag as I wore it.

Naglakad na ako sa hallway at patungo ako ngayon sa gymnasium. Lumabas na ako ng building at nagtungo sa kabilang daan patungo na sa gymnasium. Mula rito ay naririnig ko na ang paghampas ng mga bola lagpas sa net ng volleyball. I just finished eating egg sandwich while I'm removing the contact lenses to my eyes. I can eat later again.

When I opened the large green doors of small gym of volleyball, I saw them already tossing the ball to members and they are spiking it down. I gulped several times because all of them are boys. I'm just pretending to become Auvinumn Therental so this is really pressure to me.

I silently closed the door as I inhaled and exhaled like I'm going to die in nervous. My hands are sweating in cold because of volleyball team. I still don't know how to act like Auvinumn but I have few clues. He likes tapping the shoulder of his teammate whenever they're doing a great job. He's also mentioning the word bro o pare. He is noticing his own fans by waving his hand back and smiling at them sweetly.

Sarap niyang batukan kahit comatose. Nagpapansin pa bago tumira ng bola!

I also noticed that he's close with captain and setter before. I don't know who are the members, captain and setter now because it was all happened before. Mas bata pa siya pero alam kong ginagawa niya pa rin ang mga galaw na iyon hanggang ngayon. Puro nga iyon kalokohan.

I took a heavy sigh as I opened widely the green doors like gates.

"Nasaan na ba si Auvin?" tanong ng isang miyembro na lalaki habang hawak ang bola. When his eyes went to exit, his face enlightened. "Oh, nandito na pala! Ang laging huli sa practice!" he exclaimed that made others stop from tossing and hitting the balls. The volleyball balls spreads to floor. Ang daming nakakalat na bola at ang isang lalaki naman ay pinupulot ito para ibalik sa lalagyan.
