AUTUMN

I just stared at him for a moment. Cradience Varden is making a deal? What is he thinking? I can't read him because of his poker face and emotionless eyes staring at me, as if he was devouring my system by just those stares. I avoided my gaze at him as I took a heave sigh. I want to avoid him and even I wanted to, the time—everything is creating a way to cross our paths again.

Bakit ulit ako napunta sa panahong ito? Para makita siya ulit?

I sighed in defeat. It really seems like he will keep my identity if I agreed making a deal.

"What condition?" I asked. I'm not planning to turn back. I chose to stop and listen because I know that this is the way to remain Auvin's position in volleyball, and to win his own dream. He can continue playing volleyball after few matches of volleyball game. Magagawa ko lamang iyon kung aayon ako sa gusto ng lalaking ito. He walked slowly towards me. His half face isn't red anymore. The ice healed it and I bet, he's feeling well right now.

"Simple as instructions in exams. Be my temporary girlfriend," he answered that made my eyes widened by his surprising agreement.

I looked at him intently while gritting my teeth because of madness. "Naka-drugs ka ba? Anong temporary girlfriend? Gusto mo bang makatikim ng sampal ulit para uwian kang pula ang mukha?" naiinis na sagot ko sa kaniya. Ano bang klaseng laro ang gusto niyang mangyari? Unti-unti niya na nakukuha ang laro mula sa mga kamay ko.

He laughed because of my answer. "If you didn't make an issue inside of our company, I wouldn't be here by now and asking you to become my girlfriend. The issue has been reported and my father wants me to find the girl who slapped me. I thought everyone would be hard but I never expected everything to be easy," he answered and shrugged nonchalantly.

"And dear, I'm close with the cosplayer named Kaden Kite Kallium and the famous actor named Sillian David," he added.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Hindi ko natatandaan na nagtanong ako tungkol sa bagay na iyan, Varden," I answered flatly. About his connections to famous cosplayer and famous actor aren't my concerns anymore. I can ask Seldus to go there in event of cosplayers and ask for autograph. I can also ask for autograph to Sillian David after his shooting.

I have my ways so over my dead gorgeous body, I won’t ask him to come with me and ask for their autographs.

Siksikan lang ang mangyayari sa event pero sana rin ay samahan ako ni Seldus dahil minsan kasi ay inuuna niya pa ang basketball practice kaysa sa pagsama sa akin. Importante rin naman ang practice niya pero nakakainis siya minsan.
