"Did you hear that there is a possibility that one of Madam Jiang's children might be Jin Guangshan's half child?"

"Wait really?"

"The sect Leader was so mad when he found out that his wife was still secretly married to Sect Leader Jin!"

"Madam Jin was furious when she heard about it!"

"She asked her friends which on of her children was her husband's spawn immediately after she entered the grounds of Lotus Pier!"

"What was her reply?"

"She never answered, all she said was 'They both are Fengmians children! I would never birth a child that comes from that man's seed' No one believed her though."

"Who would considering her tarnished reputation, suddenly this one came up, of course everyone will think she cheated on her husband."

"Which one though?"

"Maybe both? Who knows? I always knew she was a good for nothing woman."

"She got hit by a paddle 24 times and by the discipline whip once or twice for keeping such information a secret and for betraying her clan."

"I heard she was meant to be in seclusion but somehow it didn't happen."

"The Jiang Sect is really cursed isn't it?" Nie Mingjue asked as he was having tea with Lan Xichen.

"One might think so, who knows what's actually happening there." Lan Xichen said.

"You know something don't you?" Nie Mingjue asked raising a brow "Even if I do, I wouldn't spill it no matter how awful my lying skills are." Lan Xichen pointed out and Nie Mingjue laughed.

"Alright, so how is Wei Wuxian? I haven't even met the kid yet but Huaisang seems fond of him and I heard about the scars."

Lan Xichen smiled brightly as he heard that, he just received a message from his brother that most of Wei Wuxian's scars were healing!

"You seem awfully...bright when I mentioned that."

Lan Xichen waved him off "Apologies, I didn't mean to give that Impression, Wuxian's scars are fading, he found some good friends and doctors."

Nie Mingjue was intrigued "Who were they?"

"Dafan Wens."

Nie Mingjue spat his tea "WENS!?"

Lan Xichen sighed "Mingiue, I know your grudge about Wens but they can't all be that bad."

Nie Mingjue was about to retort but Lan Xichen held his hand up.

"Sure, Sect Leader Wen killed your father, everyone knows that, but is the fault of a parent the fault of a child?" Lan Xichen asked.

"What do you mean?" Nie Mingjue questioned.

"What I mean is, will you hold a grudge against a Wen Child, who doesn't even know how to walk, just because the child is related to Sect Leader Wen?"

Nie Mingjue thought about it before sighing "I suppose you are right, who was this doctor?"

"According to Wuxian, the said doctor didn't have a choice but to tend to Sect Leader Wen."

This caught Nie Mingjue's interest "Apparently Sect Leader Wen threatened her village if she wouldn't work for him."

"Sect Leader Wen truly is shameless." Nie Mingjue muttered.

"The name of the doctor was Wen Qing."

"Wen Qing? The head healer and the one Sect Leader Wen tends to keep close?" Lan Xichen nodded.
