Chapter 51

Wei Wuxian was in the Burial Mounds farming when he received a message from a Jin messenger.

"Huh." Wei Wuxian scoffed "He had it coming."

"What's wrong, love?" Lan Wangji asked as he paused playing his guqin.

"Apparently Jin Zixun got cursed and Jin Zixuan wants me to make something that could track the person they cursed because he didn't want to deal with it." Wei Wuxian said.

"Why not use the Compass of Evil that you made and just tinker it a bit?" Lan Wangji suggested, only because if he didn't maybe it would take his beloved weeks and weeks to finish it and Lan Wangji would be too lonely from the lack of attention.

Wei Wuxian's eyes lit up and kissed his cheek "YOU'RE A GENIUS! LAN ZHAN YOU TAKE CARE OF THE THINGS AROUND HERE!" He then turned around.

"YOU! TELL YOUR MASTER THAT IT WILL BE DONE IN 2 WEEKS TIME!" Wei Wuxian said as he pointed at the messenger before unsheathing his sword and flying back to Lotus Pier.

"He could have kissed my lips but it's always the cheek before he runs off." Lan Wangji mumbled sulking.

"Alright, let's get back to work." Lan Wangji told the disciples.

Jin Zixuan was having a family lunch as this time his mother was strong enough to walk around without much help needed.

Jin Guangshan didn't join them because well...

Ofcourse Jin Yanli was here but she can't eat unless the whole family is finished.

Not that she would have the guts to complain anyway.

Yu Ziyuan isn't here because she chose to secluded herself unless it's something important.

And suddenly a Jin messenger came back "Huh? Did Wei Wuxian sent you something already?" Jin Zixuan asked.

"Sect Leader Wei has not sent anything but he mentioned you wait for 2 weeks as he would tinker something to help with the curse mark."

Jin Zixun gritted his teeth "You told that shameless idiot?!"

"That shameless idiot is the only one that could help you." Jin Zixuan snapped and Madam Jin backed her son.

"And that Shameless idiot's position is higher than yours, he can ask for your head and I'd give it to him with no questions asked if you don't behave yourself!" She scolded.

And so the table went silent and Jin Zixuan turned to the messenger "Thank you, you are excused."

The messenger kowtowed and left the room.

"What did you ask Sect Leader Wei for?" Jin Guangyao could not help but ask.

Jin Zixuan was about to open his mouth but Jin Zixun decided to talk "You don't need to know everything around here you bastard!" He snapped and Jin Guangyao merely smiled at that.

Nobody talked after that, usually his mother would snap at Jin Guangyao but it seemed that she wasn't in the mood or she has suspicions about Jin Guangyao poisoning her.

Jin Wanyin could also be part of it though, but he's kind of...stupid, Wanyin would never pull this kind of poison off without help.

Right now mother wasn't being poisoned so his focus should be on his cousin.

But if anything he thinks that two people are connected. his mother and cousin must be targeted by the same person.

He just doesn't know if the person had help or what.
