CHAPTER - 16

Shruthi's pov -

I found myself hugging pillow today morning. I have no idea where rahul is.

I know I did a mistake by yelling at him but there's a limit where I can beg for apologies.

My body hurts little less now. I can move my hands but I cant move my arm. I slowly limped towards the bathroom and undid my bandages and stood infront of hot shower.

" Veeerr " I laughed my heart out when he was tickling me.

He pulled me towards him and lifted me and twirled me around.

Few of the happiest moments when we were just friends.

I broke my thoughts and came out wrapping towel. I cant think about that bastard. He's a traitor. He's a criminal. He's dangerous.

I grabbed a loose short pajamas. I was struggling to wear my bra when the door swung open.

" Who asked you to get up " he growled. I just continued doing my work.

" Stop " he said taking both the sides of my bra and pulled back. I hissed in pain and he glared at me from the mirror.

I lifted my eyes to meet him from the mirror. I wasn't planning to tell him sorry again. I was going to act the same way he did.

But when I saw him, my heart clenched in pain and I broke into soft sobs. His face softened. He slowly hooked my bra and made me turn towards him.

I looked down. I was never this vulnerable. He slowly wiped my tears and pulled me into his embrace. I hugged him as my life depended on him. And continued sobbing on his chest.

" Stop crying " he whispered kissing my head.

" forgive me " I begged between my cries.

" I forgive you " he said and I broke the hug staring in his eyes if he really forgives me or not. He looked devastated. I dont know why.

He cupped my chin pulling my face up and he kissed me. It was rough and desperate as he was dying to do this. I slowly responded and he pulled away when I went breathless. I hugged him again and stayed like that for few minutes.

" Dont ever ignore me "

" I Won't I'm sorry " he said caressing my cheek.

His face went downwards towards my neck and he smirked. My face heated up.

" Get out pervert " I said slowly pushing him.

" I've seen more than that princess " he said and I was going crimson red.

He chuckled and made me wear a oversized t-shirt even when I said its not necessary for him to help.

Its been weeks and I'm recovering. Rahul has been training me everyday and advik and arjun spent their time on finding veer. I mean Rajeev

" I found a lead " Arjun came running towards us followed by rahul behind where me and advik were discussing

" we'll be attending a ball tonight. He held a mafia ball to which I got few fake invitations. " Arjun said.

" Arjun you are insane. What if he find us or it can be a trap too. He'll kill us " I said

" No he won't kill us. Its a theme party. We have our people around. We can't kill him. Its aganist our orders, since its going to be held in his territory. We have high chances to get proofs against him and then we attack " arjun said
