~Elrohir~

I stare at the plate of food in front of me. My appetite has vanished.

"Elrohir, you're not ill are you?" My mother asks.

"No Amme, I am well."

Elladan, my twin brother, eyes me, "He's lovesick."

I roll my eyes, "Whatever."

My father set's down his glass and casts a glance my way.

"Elrohir has his eyes on Y/n. She's the daughter of Daenor."

My father smiles, "Daenor is an honourable elf and I'm sure his daughter is just as so."

"She's pretty." I blurt. I slap my hand to my face.

Arwen giggles along with my mother.

"Oh, I have seen the things he thinks about her." Elladan taps the side of his head.

Ugh. The twin bond. A blessing and a curse.

"Shut up Elladan. It is not any of your business."

The Lord of Imladris nodded, "It isn't. Leave your brother alone."

I sighed and went back to my thoughts, making sure to block my brother out.

"See! He blocked me!" Elladan laughs.

"I would like to be excused, "I stand.

My mother nods, "You may."

I run back to my room and flop on the bed.

~You (But you're I as in first Pov)~

I sit on a bench with a notebook in my lap. The sun is warm and the breeze blows crisp across the valley. The pages I am writing of ruffle slightly. Since I was very young I have enjoyed journaling and recording things about my life. In my notebook, I had a few sketches. I gasped when they blew across the grass. I dashed to collect them all and freeze when I hear voices. The two voices belong to the Lords of the Valley. Elladan and Elrohir. I fold the drawing of Elrohir up and put it in my pocket.

"You should talk to her," Elladan says.

"What if she doesn't like me."

"There is that possibility. I am much better looking."

I try not to laugh.

"I don't know Elladan. She could be married for all I know."

"Pretty sure she's a little young for that."

I wondered who they were talking about.

"Maybe I'll go see if Y/n wants to go to the festival with me."

I gasped to myself, "What?"

I didn't want Elladan to ask me because I liked Elrohir.

I emerged from behind the garden beds.

Elrohir and Elladan stood stalk-still.

"Good Afternoon My lords," I nod my head.

Elladan greets me but his twin stands still with a heavy blush on his cheeks.

"My Idiot brother there was just about to call on you Lady Y/n."

Elrohir stepped forward, "I was."

I smile, "And what can I do for you?"

"He wants to ask you out to court him." Elladan pipes up.

I chew on my lip.

"He's right. I just didn't know how to ask."

Elladan kissed my hand, "Unless, the lady would rather it be me."

Before I knew what I was doing I tiptoed and kissed Elrohir on the cheek, "I'd love to."

Elrohir studdered, "Oh Uh, Well, I look forward to it."

I stepped away, "So do I. Good day."

I quickly turned and walked back to my house before I embarrassed myself.
