Chapter 30: Rishi is back

Ria did not know how one week passed just in the blink of an eye.  She was wondering from the first day she came, she never realized she was fortunate to live with such a caring and cooperative family. Though sometimes, she misses the company of Rishi very much most of the time goes around being with Rishika which she likes a lot.

The next day, Ria was preparing breakfast when her mother-in-law came to her in the kitchen and informed her,

"...beta, today, we have to attend Godbharai (Baby shower) of Mrs. Shukla's daughter-in-law. So, just be ready nicely, we will head by early evening."

"... alright Ma, I will be ready on time." She reassured.

Ria was having trouble again deciding saree, the first one she chooses doesn't meet her requirements. She ended up wearing a light orange saree paired with long earrings and minimal makeup. She called Rishika into her room to get her views.

"Bhabhi, it's a bit too plain for such occasions... Ma, won't like this..." She reviewed it by giving proper look to it.

"Are you sure?" She confirmed.

"Yup, try that maroon one..." She suggested by pointing towards the heavy Benarasi Silk saree besides the pile of Benarsi sarees.

"This one..." Ria confirmed.

"Go and try this... Hurry up, bhabhi!" Rishika rushed.

"Now, it looks better. Though your hair looks long and decent,  even after keeping it open I suggest it's better to make a bun and put gajra (Jasmine strings)  to it. Sit.." She instructed.

Ria sat in front of the dressing table. Rishika did her hair. She was really looking quite majestic and yet elegant with her perfect solah shringar(16 ornaments). She thanked Rishika wholeheartedly.
