"Oh, there you three are, lovely girls," The Necromancer says. Nik and Finn stand in front of the girls to protect them. "I was wondering if you'd come visit me again. How's your friend, the one I saw you with earlier, trying to steal an illicit peek at me?" The Necromancer asks. "As we speak, he's having an emotional reunion with his dead girlfriend," Hope deadpans. "I assume we have you to thank?" Hope asks. Grace sets him on fire, "Grace put it out," Finn deadpans, Grace sighs but puts the fire out. "Poor dear. Her spirit was clinging to him like a vine in winter. It took barely any effort. Just a little wrinkle of the nose, and poof. Young love reborn. You're lucky that's all I did. The way you've treated a man of my stature, you should be ashamed," The Necromancer says. "Literally nobody knows who you are," Hope says. "You are starting to sound like him," Grace adds, pointing to Klaus, who then growls at his niece. "That's impossible," the Necromancer exclaims. "I'll check on Raf. Klaus, I may need your help. He's a newly turned werewolf," Alaric says. Klaus and Alaric leave, the three girls turn to the Necromancer, "You are trying to mess with our friend," Faith starts. "Acquaintance," Grace says. Faith and Hope turn to her, "And when someone messes with our friend, we are forced to deal with them," Hope adds. "I-If you want an end to this misery, simply bring me the knife and I'll be on my way..." The Necromancer says.

"Acquaintance, really," Faith asks. Grace shrugs. "Why is he interested in you three," Rebekah asks. "Because we," Hope starts as Faith starts pointing at Grace, "Don't listen," Hope finishes.

"Girls!" Klaus calls. "I take it things aren't going well?" Grace asks her uncle after coming up the stairs. "He's a bigger diva than your father," Klaus growls. "So you can spend ten more minutes with him before he becomes a bigger diva than Rebekah," Grace asks. "You are very annoying," Klaus says. Grace shrugs. "So what's the plan?" Hope asks. "You three are going back to class," Klaus says. "I will handle it. Alaric has questions that need answers," Klaus says. "Okay, well, I'm not sure your methods are the most effective," Hope argues. "Hope," Klaus argues. "It's like two Niks arguing," Henrik says. Finn smirks, "I don't know what's scarier, two Niks, two Kols, or two Rebekahs," Finn says. Grace and Faith turn to glare at him. "I said I will handle it. Now, just stay away from him," he warns. Grace smirks, "He's going to regret that," she says. Finn and Henrik nod, "Nik, just tried telling Grace what to do," Henrik adds. "And he did not have a dagger," Finn adds. Grace smirks, "Does this mean I can blame you two," Grace asks. Finn and Henrik shake their heads, "No," they say in unison. "You're going to blame them anyway," Faith says. "Oh yeah," Grace says.

"Do you enjoy tormenting," Klaus asks. "I prefer to call it teasing," Grace says. Three girls give each other a look, "We do not argue like our parents," they say in unison. "Yes, you do," Finn says.

"Cassie, is it?" Klaus starts. "Cassie, I'm Dr. Saltzman. I am here to help you," Alaric says. "I...I don't understand what's happening. Why am I here?" Cassie says confused. "I didn't know what to tell her," Raf says. "Um, well, do you mind telling me the last few things that you remember?" Alaric asks. "Um.. Raf and I were driving home from a track meet. The roads were bad, it was wet, and then dark, and I heard this voice telling me to open up my eyes, and then I was here," Cassie says. "Okay. Well, listen, this is gonna be really hard for you to understand, but... those memories you have, those are from two months ago. You were in a car accident. You didn't survive. And tonight, you were resurrected from the dead," Alaric tells her. Klaus turns to him, "Seriously," he says.

"Way to break it to her slowly," Grace mutters.

"Find anything yet?" Hope asks Dorian. "Necromancy is everywhere in occult literature. It's a form of sorcery that dates back to ancient Greece. It involves the ability to communicate with and raise the dead. But there's nothing about a specific necromancer, so whoever this dude is, he's been erased from history like every other monster that comes looking for the knife," Dorian explains. "Is there any way to stop him from bringing back dead people?" Faith asks. "Because if this week is any indication, it's kind of becoming a thing," Grace says sarcastically. "I'll look into it, but tomorrow's my day off, so it might take a minute," Dorian says. "Evil never takes a holiday, Dorian," Hope deadpans. "Well, every year on Remembrance Day, I do. I write my letters, pack my lunch and I head to the cemetery and ring that bell in honor of my dead family. So for the next hours, ask Dr. Saltzman," Dorian says. "Fair," Hope says. "But I'm worried about him. Do you think he's okay? I think after the week he's had, he needs a nap," Faith says. "And a therapist," Grace mumbles. "Are those for Dr. Saltzman," Grace asks. "Yeah, take these to him for me, would you?" Dorian says. Hope takes them, "Sure," she says. "Thanks," Dorian says. Grace smirks, "Thank you," Grace says taking the books.

"He should have been suspicious the second those three girls wanted to help," Elena says. "Yeah, usually I would argue," Grace whispers. "But it's true," Faith whispers back. "I know, how do I argue with that," Grace whispers.

"You three have a powerful scent of death on you," the Necromancer says when the Mikaelson girls enter the room. "Thanks, " Grace says sarcastically. "It's quite lovely, really," the Necromancer admits. "I thought maybe we could talk," Hope says. "Such a puny creature dares to dalliance with The Almighty Necromancer?" the Necromancer says. "Well, here's the thing about that," Faith starts. "You don't exist," Grace finishes. "I won't fall for your mind games," the Necromancer says. "This isn't a game. Let me lay it out for you. You died, you were in a dark place for what felt like an eternity, until suddenly, you were pulled into the light with a singular, inexplicable mission to retrieve a knife," Faith tells him. "Do continue," the Necromancer says getting annoyed. "It's been the same with all the creatures that came before you. A dragon, a gargoyle, an Arachne, a dryad," Hope tells him. "Bah. Such creatures exist only in fiction," the Necromancer argues. "No. They've been erased from history, and so have you," Grace says bluntly. "That's preposterous. I'm world-renowned. People tremble at the sound of my name," the Necromancer says. "Don't believe us? Read up," Hope says handing him a book. "No! No! No! No! No! No!" the Necromancer exclaims. "A lifetime's work, my legacy, reduced to something as-as pitiful as a brand of sorcery? Where I am barely a footnote? Who's responsible for this vile affront?" the Necromancer demands. "That's what we're hoping you can help us figure out," Faith says. "Well, then, I'm all ears," the Necromancer says.

"So when Niklaus says 'Don't go near him'," Elijah says. "My first instinct was to totally ignore him and do the exact opposite," Grace says.
