"Vampires, werewolves, dragons. I mean, I have faced... terrifying danger in my life. But there's only one day in my calendar marked with a black "X." One day I...fear above all others. Because if I have to hear somebody sing how many minutes there are in a year...one more time...I'm gonna throw myself to the unicorn," Alaric tells Emma. She laughs, "So why don't you play hooky with me?" Emma suggests. Alaric laughs, "What?" he asks. "The latest monster is harmless, your daughters are playing nice, and no one...is paying attention to school. So give yourself the day off," Emma says.

"Why would you hate the school talent show," Caroline asks. "It is two hours of torture," Faith says. Grace opens her mouth, "Close it," Lizzie says. Grace closes her mouth, "I was not going to complain," she says. "Of course not," Lizzie says.

The Unicorn eats hay and moves around the enclosed spell barrier spell. "Look at you. Eating hay. Acting all innocent," Dorian says. The Unicorn neighs, "You might have fooled everybody else, but I got my eye on you, okay? Yeah. That's right," he says. The slug begins to climb Dorian's leg, "'It's a unicorn, Dorian. Don't hurt the unicorn.' Unicorn," Dorian says, knowing that he is mocking the Mikaelsons.

"He does realize that he is talking to a Unicorn right," Klaus says. "You read us the Adventures of the Unicorn Princess," Grace says. Klaus and Kol roll their eyes.

Faith brings Jen into the library, "I felt bad that you did not know very much about your family, so I decided that if I tell you about mine, then something might spark," Faith says, pulling a book off the shelf. Finn and Henrik appear, and sit down as Faith opens up the book. "First there is Finn, he is very impatient," Faith starts. "Hey," Finn exclaims. "He spent nine hundred years in a coffin and came out all cranky," Faith adds. "Bloody hell," Finn says. "He is also right here," Faith says, undoing the spell and making the two of them visible. "Oh my God," Jen says jumping. "Hello, Jen," Finn says. "Hi," she says. "So how were you invisible and now visible," Jen asks. "Well, let's see, I am dead," Finn says. "So am I," Henrik says. "Shut up, Henrik. Faith has to get through me, Elijah, Niklaus, Kol and Rebekah before she gets to you," Finn says. "Wait, you're dead," Jen says. Both Finn and Henrik nod, "That's weird," Jen says. Faith shrugs, "You get used to it," she says. "After Finn, there is," Faith starts before flipping the page. "Elijah Mikaelson: The Noble Hypocrite," Jen reads. "That sounds harsh," she says. Faith clenches her jaw, "Yep," she says.

"Why am I the Noble Hypocrite," Elijah asks. Lizzie turns and glares at him, "Maybe watch and find out," she says. "You know, don't you," Klaus says. "Of course I do," Lizzie says. "So do I," Josie says. "And now I will," Jen adds.

Lizzie stands in the gym with Grace by her side, watching the witches practice, she counts out the steps. "And a five, six, seven, eight," she counts. The witches are out of sync with each other, and Lizzie stops the music with her magic. Grace sighs, "Looks like we haven't been practicing. And some of your outfits must have shrunk. Or maybe there were just too many late-night visits to the ca..." Lizzie says, before gasping in pain. Grace holds her hand, "But it's fine. We'll adjust. From the top. Josie?" Lizzie calls. "Where is Josie?" Lizzie asks Grace. Josie comes out from backstage, "Oh," Josie says before gasping. "Am I late?" she asks. "Where are the canes?" Lizzie asks. "I don't know. I actually went to go find them, right? But then I was thinking, I don't feel like stressing about it," Josie says. "Y-You didn't want...? Okay. That's fine. Why don't you just take your usual place?" Lizzie says. "Ah, about that. I was actually thinking, I really don't feel like being in the back row," Josie says. "Uh, well, I know you haven't been practicing. But if you want to be in the front, you..." Lizzie starts. "I mean, I just think we should scrap that lame routine, right? Do something totally different. It'd be super fun, right? And without the canes. It'd be fun," Josie says. The witches laugh, agreeing with the dark haired twin. "But, my beloved sister, this is the routine we do every year. Because we win," Lizzie nearly growls. Josie slurps her smoothie, "Every year," Lizzie finishes. "I think I should sing a new song," Josie says. "And then everybody can contribute some choreography, and it can be like a real...collaboration, hmm. Doesn't that just sound...nice?" Josie asks. "Mm. Hmm," Lizzie says begrudgingly.

"Aww, working together to make the witches part of the talent show is perfect," Caroline says. Grace raises her eyebrows, "Trust me darling, I would feel bad if someone tried to ruin her Miss Mystic Falls," she says. "Considering that someone does ruin it," Lizzie growls. Grace pales, "Darling, I promise," Grace starts. "Don't start," she says. Grace turns to glare at Hayley, "I blame you," she says.

Grace sighs, "Grace I need something from you," Lizzie says. "All right," Grace says. "What do you need darling," Grace says. "I need you and your cousins to do an act," Lizzie says. "Darling," Grace says. Lizzie begins to walk away, "I don't think that's going to work," Grace says. "And she's walking away, and not listening to me," Grace says. "All right, darling, we'll do it," Grace shouts. Lizzie turns around, "You were going to do it, anyways," Lizzie says. Grace turns to Josie, "She's right, I would," Grace says. Josie laughs.

"Manipulated," Hope and Faith say at the same time. Grace turns to Lizzie, "That is my favorite thing about you being your father's daughter," Lizzie says. "What do you mean," Grace asks. "Your dad is manipulated by Davina and yourself," Lizzie says. "And you are manipulated by me," Lizzie says. Grace sighs, "And your mother can manipulate my uncle," Grace says. "That is not true," Klaus says. "That is beside the point," Lizzie says at the same time.

Rafael walks into a class to see Hope mixing up a gel. "Hey," Raf says sitting down. "Hey. Thank you for coming," Hope says. "Any thing to avoid the wolves talking about that stupid talent show," Raf says. Hope and Faith laugh, "Apparently, deciding what we do is a...alpha thing," Raf says. "Hmm," Hope says. "Once you have your gel mixed, make a shallow cut on your volunteer," the teacher says. "Do you trust me?" Hope asks. "Kind of," Raf says. They both laugh as Hope makes a small cut on Raf's cheek. "Thought this would be something you'd want to do with Landon," Raf says. "If I mess up, you'll heal on your own. Plus, you're a little sturdier. So, what are you gonna do?" Hope says as she dabs the gel on the cut. "Huh?" Raf asks. "For the talent show," Hope says. "Oh, um, one of the wolves said he was gonna teach me to-to juggle," Raf says. "Juggle? Come on, you should do something bold, spontaneous. Totally unexpected," Hope says. "Huh," Raf says. "Well done, Hope," the teacher says. "Thank you, Ms. Featherwood," Hope says. "Sorry to bolt, but I gotta go figure what Landon and I are good at together," Hope says packing her bag. "Besides making out," Hope says. "Yeah, no problem," Raf says. "I can't believe I went from having only my cousins at this school to having a boyfriend and a true friend I know I can count on. I'm so lucky to have you both," Hope says hugging Raf.

"I think you are not good at making out," Klaus says. Hope rolls her eyes.
