Everyone stared at her in shock for a few seconds, almost waiting for her to pull a face and laugh at her joke. When she didn't do anything of the sort and remained serious, all of them slumped in their seats in disappointment.

'Even you don't know where Shell is?' X asked her roughly, running a hand over his face. She shook her head with a slight pout.

'But that's ridiculous!' Hacker jumped in. Everyone turned to her with slightly startled expressions. Hacker had been so quiet through the entire interrogation that they had almost forgotten that she was listening in.

'Excuse me, but how can you maintain contact with Shell and supply her the information she needs when you don't even know where she is?' She asked in a condescending tone.

The meteorologist just smiled mysteriously. 'I realise how that sounds. But my dear, it's very much true. As I'm sure you're all aware, using today's advanced technology, almost anything is possible.

Just like everyone else, Shell has just made the best use of this technology. Through online networks, she's made a server of sorts where she communicates with her team of scientists. We have a collective group for the whole process to sync together, and individual chats where she personally specifies the information she needs from each of us.

This server is, unfortunately, untraceable through all possible methods. Believe me, I've tried to hack into it to the best of my abilities. But it's been purposefully designed to bounce locations in case we try to track her location.' She explained calmly.

X and Sheaf immediately looked at Hacker. She nodded her head in response, instinctively knowing that they wanted her to try and hack into the server with her super coder skills.

'Show me the server. I'll see if I can hack into it,' She announced to nobody in particular, getting to her feet and dusting her red jacket. 'I'm a hacker, you know.' she added when the meteorologist seemed sceptical about it.

She opened her mouth like she was planning to argue, but then thought better of it and called out a set of instructions to reach her study.

While Hacker left the room and made her way to the device connected to the server, X still had the niggling feeling that Hacker may not be able to crack the code. Which meant that they needed a backup plan ready for any possibilities.

'We need to figure out another way to track Shell in case this doesn't work, which means all three of us need to analyse the rest of the possible paths we could take.' X spoke up, chin propped up by his hand in thought.

Sheaf perked up at this and raised his hand in the air. 'Oh, I remember that! We'd discussed in your office that there were two main methods to get to Shell. One was the scientists, which is clearly not feasible anymore as the server problem binds all the scientists. If I remember clearly, the other method was through the weapon, right?'
