"So, Zane, that's pretty cool that you've got a job at my school as a campus police officer," Aaron professed.

"Yeah," Zane imparted. "I figured that if I'm gonna survive with all the cash I've got, I might as well get myself a job. Luckily, the school was hiring. And I met this really cool guy who asked me about you."

Aaron made an expression of intrigue and curiosity.

"Really? Who?"

"Some guy named Robin," Zane answered.

"What?!" Aaron exclaimed.

Zane jumped.

"You seem surprised. Do you know Robin?"

Aaron shook his head.

"Not personally but I dreamt of him. He was the one who helped me wake you up from cold storage."

Zane chuckled.

"Well, when you put it like that, I think you should remind me to thank him."

"Right," Aaron agreed. "I know that Robin was supposed to be my soulmate in my dream. After the dream I had last night, I might be wrong."

"Oh, no," Zane shrugged. "You aren't. Robin's your soulmate."

Aaron's eyes jumped.

"I know Michael was formerly the man for you," said Zane. "I was there. We let that spotlight shine on both of you. While we were naked and unashamed, the two of you were naked but quite the opposite."

"And we were separated from the river you made," Aaron said.

"Because the two of you were ashamed to see each other," Zane said. "But in all honesty, Robin told me what the dream meant. Robin and I were together because the two of you were hoping to get back together. But us being together only divided you and Michael further because the two of you weren't meant for each other and being together would bring shame to the both of you. You were meant for Robin and Michael was meant for me."

Aaron nodded.

"If only we could've been together. But we're so far away from each other."

"Sorry to hear that," said Zane.

"It's fine," Aaron said cheerfully. "Nothing to worry about. We'll see each other again. I'm sure of it. We may not be lovers anymore but we can live as good friends."

"I'm sure you will," Zane agreed. "But what exactly did you see in Michael?"

"Other than his sexiness, he's got a charm that I could never see in anyone else," Aaron answered with a light giggle. "Sure, the first time I met him, he was a little bit of a hustla. You know, 'cause a diva is the female version of the hustla, and divas can be mean. Emphasis on "can be." But in his defense, I did stare at his hairy pecs and he did say later on when we started dating that it was rude to stare. But the more I got to know him, the more I saw the good in him. I see Michael as not just a hustla. He's compassionate, spirited but vulnerable, and sensitive, especially about other people's feelings. He's also intelligent which is to be expected of holmidae, and not the least bit insecure. I see Michael for who he is. Empowered or not."
