Friend David was drinking coffee and told Nigel that a book about some of Martin Heidegger's notes that were later not utilized for the writing of Sein und Zeit.

In those notes written in 1921, Martin Heidegger recalled beautiful afternoons spent reading Herbert George Wells' The Time Machine and imagined conversations between Wells and a close friend of his, which presumably took place in 1893, in which they fantasized about the world of the 25th century when humanity will have acquired unimaginable technical knowledge."
