Princess Ailin lived in a state of permanent depression. She knew that the kingdom would die with the death of the king and envied the shrewd and ambitious royal family of the Elven Kingdom of North West.
Fearing the worst, and trying to save the kingdom, Princess Ailin proposed a federation of the Elven kingdoms. The result was heartbreaking: the family of the Northwest kingdom scornfully refused, the subjects, who already resented Ailin because of her brother, accused her of lack of patriotism, some extreme bangs even of treason.
The kingdom was crumbling, disintegrating, dying in a painful way. And only the king and Princess Ailin were weeping over it. The rise of Necromancer Panglotter was only speeding up the process.
