For a hundred and twenty years Ailin coordinated the city's defenses. She defeated dragons, titans, battalions of trolls and orcs, wizards and necromancers who were a little too megalomaniacal.
Formally she was only a Guardian of the Kingdom. In reality, she was sixth in the line of succession of the kingdom, after her brother the prince and his three children.
