♠︎ TOM'S POV

It's quiet...

It's been around one hour into the drive back to London.

As Tord was driving I kinda just gazed at him for a moment.

Examining him.

I was sitting in a car with one of the most powerful people in the UK right now...

I stopped staring at Tord and I was about to just go to sleep until I noticed something on Tord's finger.

"You're married?" I asked, curious about seeing the wedding band.

"Mhm," Tord went as he took a drink of his water.

"Oh. What's her name?" I asked, trying to create a conversation.

"Her name's Robyn," Tord said sounding unhappy.

"How about you?" Tord asked.

"Nope. I'm still single," I laughed.

My laugh faded away as the car got awkward again.

"You know... It feels kinda weird being so close to the most powerful person in the UK right now..." I said.

"You're his bodyguard too," Tord reminded me.

"Oh yeah, that's right..." I said.

"So... How long have you and your wife been married?" I asked.

"2 years," Tord said.

"Okay. But what even is your goal?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" Tord asked out of pure confusion.

"Why are you taking over the UK?" I asked.

Tord didn't answer.

Tord made a stop at a gas station, the same one Edd stopped at.

"You want anything?" Tord asked.

"No thanks," I said simply.

Tord went inside and grabbed a cup of coffee and came back.

"You didn't pay for that," I said as he sat in the car.

"You do realize that 'The Dynamic Panic' is an invasion of the UK?" Tord asked.

"Yeah, I know," I responded.

"And you do know that I'm their leader now?" Tord asked.

"I know," I said.

"And I can take whatever I want whenever I want," Tord said.

"Want, want, want." I mocked Tord.

"Whatever bitch," Tord scoffed.

I had seen how Tord was moving and how he looked, he was clearly tired.

"Tord..." I said.

"It's Red Leader," Tord corrected me.

"I'm not calling you that cheesy fucking name, TORD," I said.

Tord scoffed.

"You look tired, if you want I can drive," I said.

"No, I'm fine," Tord said.

"Alright, just don't fall asleep and crash the car. Edd had a nightmare about him crashing a car, he said it felt like a whole hour and twenty-five-minute book," I explained for no reason whatsoever.

"That sounds like a shitty fucking book, I don't know who would even like to read that," Tord said.

"Yeah, you're right," I said.
