"And what if she does not? Or becomes more a nuisance, my Lord?" I glance up at the man thinking.
"Well then you will have to take out your dear friend Kibbe," he grinned evilly at the thought. Inwardly I cringed at the thought of murdering her... Why should you? You did just kill her mother, her only friend. I ignored my thoughts as I focused on not showing my emotions in front of the Lord. "Not that it should be a problem since she probably does not even remember you..." his words stung true but still I showed nothing.
"Yes, my Lord, I will do as you wish."
"Good, I feel lighter knowing I can put my trust in you, Kibbe. Your parents would be proud of you." I nod. "You are dismissed."
"Thank you, my Lord." With that I made my way to my dorm. Once in my room, I reflected on the night's events. The blood and screams as Maria accepted the stake into her heart as if she knew this would come. That I would be the end of her life... But why... Why she let me kill... She could have fought back but didn't... And her words... Her words are still here...
