CHAPTER 34: Love Is Fearless

"I'm sorry! Don't kill me! I did not see the prince's face...promise!" Nakataas ang dalawang kamay ni Melissa nang maramdaman ang biglang paghawak ng kung sinuman sa balikat niya.

Kaunting awang pa lang ng pintuan ang nagawa niya. Tanging ang makina at mga tubo lang ang nakita niya. Nakita niya ng bahagya ang paanang bahagi ng pasyente, pero hanggang doon lang dahil nagulat siya sa biglang pagdating ng taong humawak sa balikat niya.

Nathan, Drake and Gian were on their way to visit Carl when they saw Missy sneaking inside the building. Butlers and securities noticed her but when they explained Melissa's identity, they immediately pretend that they did not saw her. Hinayaan lang nila siyang makapasok sa loob. The three of them monitored her through the CCTV. They are arguing whether to let her know the truth or not when his grandfather came.

Damn it Carl! Hindi ko alam kung tama ba ang ginagawa ko o hindi...

Nathan kneeled down to Melissa and cover her eyes. Nakapikit pa ang dalaga kaya hindi niya nakita ang binata. He used his left palm to cover her eyes. Wala iyon sa plano niya pero minabuti na lang niya na hindi siya makilala ni Missy. If she will see Nathan, the more she will be curios. Mas lalo lang siyang babalik doon para malaman kung sino ba ang pasyenteng nasa loob ng kwarto.

"I'm sorry, please don't kill me. I did not see the prince. I didn't see his face...I promise! I swear!" Pagmamakaawa ni Missy nang itayo siya ni Nathan habang tinatakpan nito ang mata ng dalaga.

Pinalakad ni Nathan si Melissa habang nakatakip pa din ang palad niya sa mata ng dalaga. He is on her back while letting her walk.

"Wait!" Melissa shouted. Takot na takot siya. Gusto sana niyang manlaban pero sa katawan pa lang ng taong iyon, alam niyang lalaki ito. Alam niyang wala na siyang kawala sakaling manlaban siya.

Napatigil si Nathan dahil naramdaman niya ang luha ni Melissa mula sa palad niya. She's starting to cry and he started to feel the guilt.

"There's this man that I love so much. I just wanted to make a last call before you-"

Hindi naituloy ni Missy ang sasabihin nang maramdaman ang dulo ng baril sa noo niya. Nathan let the butlers do it on purpose. He also instructed one of the them to speak in behalf of him. She can recognize Nathan's voice for sure.

Nathan typed the exact words on his phone and the butler delivered it well.

"If you wanted to see that man of yours again, just shut your mouth and leave this building. Never ever go back here."
