"So...did you tell him?" Kara asked after hearing Melissa's creepy story about her dream. They were in the middle of their make up session when suddenly she remember her nightmare.

"Tell what?" Patay malisyang tanong ni Missy. Abala siya sa pagpili ng kulay ng make up na sunod niyang gagamitin sa mukha ni Kara.

"That he died in your dream. You know, the day before Ysmael died, I dreamed of being dead. I was so busy reviewing for our midterms that I forgot to call him. I literally blamed myself for months after his sudden death." Kara shared Ysmael's story. He is Kara's childhood friend and first ever suitor.

Melissa become silent and slightly lost her concentration. She felt how her hand trembled while holding the make up brush. She knew about Ysmael. Kara,  Drew and her were already in medical school when he died. It was something tragic that she don't want to reminisce it. Like her dream, it was traumatic. He was a victim by hit and run. Ysmael died on the spot without even receiving a medical treatment. She could vividly remember how Kara would repeat the same story everyday on how Ysmael died in her dream. And how would she cry blaming herself for what happened to him.

"Don't tell me..."

It is his time. It is not because of that dream." Pagtatanggol ni Melissa sa sarili.

"Whether it is superstitious belief or not, wala namang mawawala sayo if you will tell Carl. He has the right to know. Hindi naman siya ibang tao, Missy. Si Carl Maxwell yun. You don't despise him naman, diba?"

"No naman. What happened between us in the past...past na yun. Kaya no, I don't despise him."

"Then why you did not tell him? Na dapat, he should be careful. Na mag-iingat siya because you had this dream of him being dead."

"Eh kasi...tulog lang siya the whole trip eh. Alangan namang gisingin ko siya para ikwento." Pagsisinungaling niya kay Kara.

"Bakit naman hindi? If its for Carl's safety, why would you bother not to wake him up. Kara said it while looking in Melissa's eyes directly.

You're lying, Missy. I know when you are lying or not.

I will talk to him and-"

"What if hindi matuloy ang kasal ko? What if Carl would die?"

"Ano ba, Kara! Huwag ka ngang nega! I will tell him! Okay? Hindi matatapos ang araw na to na hindi ko nasasabi kay Carl that he died in my dream."

"Drew and I can postpone our wedding. It can always be reschedule. Hindi ko ikakamatay ang hindi makasal sa araw na to, but Carl dying...how will you handle it?"

Carl will not die noh. Panaginip lang yun. Matagal mamatay ang masasamang damo. He will not-"

"Carl is not a masamong damo. He is one of the kindest person I've ever known, Missy." Mabilis na putol ni Kara sa kanya.
