Luke's POV:
As she turns around her ocean blue eyes stare into mine. Oh how I've missed those blue eyes.
"Luke,what are you doing here?" She asks
I should be asking you the same question kitten.
"Business" I say. She scoffs and turn to walk away.
I grab her by her wrist pulling her into me. She rest her head on my chest and sighs.
"Luke, just leave me alone" she says. I glimpse a slight tear that ran down her cheek.
"Hush" I say
It feels good having her back in my arms again. After 5 months and a half. Not that I'm counting or anything. It's been a living hell since she left.
Dad fell sick and there is a chance he might die soon, according to the doctors. He keeps telling me I have to take over the Mafia but I don't want it. But I guess that's what I get for being the first born.
Him being sick have given me absolutely no time to myself. I have to be doing all his work and it does get stressing.
I was taken out of my thoughts when Ana pulled back from my embrace.
"Ana you have to come back home"
I say
"It's Lilah"
"I don't give a fuck what you call your self, just come back"
"Luke, no. I'm not going back to that place. I'm not coming back. Never" she says
We'll see about that
"How can you say that? You have your whole life there-
"No Luke, my life is here now! In New York. I have friends, I now have a job and I like it here. No one knows the girl that fell in love with the High School bad boy and the girl that didn't know she even had a sister. I came here to start over. They know the girl who just came to New York to start over. So just please leave me the fuck alone"
"I have to go" she says wiping her tears. She brushes pass me and go back into the club.
I sigh before following her. I watch her closely as she takes to her friend. That's how she would talk to Gia.
Seems like she better off without me. What's the point of pushing her to come home if she doesn't.
She doesn't even know that Leonora exists.
I turn around before calling my men to come. After getting in my car I drive off heading to the hotel I'm staying at.
Ana's POV:
She takes up the box of cereal.
"I don't get why you wanted us to leave so bad" Aria groans
I stay seated on the stool fiddling with the ring Luke got me. I've been doing this a lot lately.
"Why do you keep fiddling with that ring of yours? Stop doing it. It's annoying" she says
She slams the bowl on the counter making me flinch.
"What's going on with you?! You haven't spoken since we left the club" she says
I lift my head up to her. "I saw Luke" I blurt out.
She looks at me with confusion.
"Well duh. I did introduce you to him" she says in her obvious tone.
"No I mean- what i mean was. The Luke that you introduced me to is my ex-boyfriend" I say
