It had been an entire month since Hope and Francis had left the castle and found out about Mary's proposal to wed Sebastian instead of the marriage between Francis and Mary due to the Queen of Scotland wanting to save the girl she had become close friends with and also the man who had been nothing but welcoming to her and had been protecting her ever since she's arrived in France.

In that month, the auburn haired girl had kept mostly to herself exploring Paris with Francis as she's never really been in Paris due to her father being close friends with the King and he always had business she can only remember bits and pieces from her time in England and when her father would take her to jousting competitions.

And, whilst Hope had enjoyed spending some alone time with Francis there is also apart of her that missed her family and her friends at court. The Morgan teen had a feeling that this wouldn't last and that sooner or later Mary will come to her senses and realise what a huge mistake she's making by even thinking about marrying Sebastian as he doesn't have no true claim that he is only the King's son and that the people of France will not except him as the future King of France as all their lives all they knew was that Francis would be their next King.

The fluorescent light of the beam of sunlight peaked through the curtains of the windows of the Inn that the couple was staying inside the warm heat of the sunlight collided with the bodies of Francis and Hope, who embraced one another under the soft sheets in the bed. Hope's check was rested against Francis's bare chest, rising as she breathed gently running his fingers through her auburn hair.

Francis had been awake for quite a while now, after the night that they had and the amount of love that he carried for this girl in his arms, he couldn't help but stare at her with a look of adoration on his face as she slept peacefully. In all honesty, Francis still couldn't believe he was loved by a beautiful and selfless women like Hope. After everything they have been through together he couldn't help but feel unworthy of her love, but right now he was happy with the time they've spent together and happy just to call her his without any drama or gossip going around about the couple.

Hope groaned quietly as the sunlight shined directly into her closed eyelids causing her to squint them shut as she turned over with a wince attempting to go back to sleep before the sound of Francis's chuckle was heard causing a small smile to appear on her lips as she let out a groan turning around to face him, " I can sense you staring at me, Francis" Hope muttered as she let out a quiet groan raising her hand to rub her eyes.

"Oh, come on. Don't act like you don't enjoy it" Francis replied with a grin, brushing her hair out of her face looking down at Hope in his arms causing the auburn haired girl to chuckle in amusement as she lightly slapped his arm playfully, " I hate you" she grumbled with a pout on her lips causing Francis to chuckle as he looked down at her in awe and adoration, "I seriously doubt that. That's not what you were saying last night"
