Rapunzel dragged you along as she stomped into the castle, fuming.

Who could blame her?

Her father had just lied to her. Sent someone to attack her.

Who wouldn't be mad?

"Good morning princess Rapunzel, princess (Y/N)!"

"Beautiful day."

"You're in a hurry!"

"Gesundheit, m'ladies."

Neither of you responded, not wanting to snap at someone. Oh you were raging.

Rapunzel threw open the door to the throne room, entering with a harsh glare.

"You lied to me." She stated.

Nigel and the others standing around made their way out. The tension was suffocating.

"Rapunzel, (Y/N), I just heard what happened in Old Corona. I, I assure you my intent was only to protect you two!"

"From what? Your own men?" You sister snapped.

"It's time for answers, dad. We want to know why you lied about Old Corona and why you've been covering up the fact that our kingdom is being destroyed!" You seethed.

"What are you trying to hide? What, pray tell, are you so afraid of?" Raps added.

"I'm sorry, my dears. I did not want to lie to you."

"Then why did you?" You asked.

"You are not ready for the truth!"

"Oh, dad, we are beyond what I am and not ready for! People are in danger!" Rapunzel replied in disbelief.

After all that she'd been through, everything she endured, she persevered. What wouldn't she be ready for?

"Rapunzel! I am the king, and I have the situation under control."

You simply scoffed.

"Yeah, and what a phenomenal job you've done up until now!"

Rapunzel sighed in disappointment.

"...You know, you are not the first person to lie to me and tell me I am not ready for the real world. Come on (Y/N), we're leaving."

You slammed the door shut, leaving your father to his own thoughts.
