𝚂𝚎𝚌𝚛𝚎𝚝 𝙾𝚏 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚂𝚞𝚗 𝙳𝚛𝚘𝚙 𝙸𝙸

(Y/N) had made a mess of her room. For some context, she was less than happy to be forced to stay in her room. So, logically, she looked for a way out. With all the underground tunnels, surely one had to be connected to your room? For convenience?

You moved your rug to the side next, spotting a trap door.

'Aha! Found it!'

You would've done a victory dance if it hadn't been for your mother, who barged in.

"Oh! Mom!"

You quickly went in her direction to block the view.

"Darling, is that a secret passageway...?"

"What? No! Pff, why would there be a..."

She looked unconvinced so you stopped trying to hide it.

"Yeah, okay, there is."

"I'm not going to tell on you (Y/N). I think your fathers decision was unfair and rash. I have tried to talk him out of it, but you know how stubborn your father can be."

"Why would he do this? We're people, not some valuable objects he can lock up for safety! We need our freedom."

"Of course you do honey, but do you remember the time where Rapunzel was still gone? He wouldn't stop looking and during all those years he had terrible night terrors. He can't bare to lose a daughter again."

"Yes, but he has to learn to take our feelings into consideration. Rapunzel has been locked up for most of her life, so this is just really..."

You looked away.

"Yes, I know, and I will continue to try and convince your father to let you outside. I promise, dear."

Queen Arianna gave you a hug, kissing your forehead lightly as she let you go.

"Now, I must go see Rapunzel too. Oh! And I recommend you try to leave once it's a bit darker out. There are less guards then."

"Thank you mom."

"Anytime love."

And with that, she left your room. Now, you just had to wait a few hours until you could finally go through with your escape plan.

They did not go by quickly. But hey, you had survived.

The sun was finally going down, painting the sky in gorgeous hues of scarlet, apricot, teal, and a nice shade of navy-blue.

You opened the trap door beneath your rug and descended down into the depths of darkness.

You mostly guessed which way would lead to which destination in the castle. Luckily, you were far away from any traps since your room was extremely far away from the treasure vault.

It took some time, but you finally reached the big doors. Your mom had been right, there were no guards around. Your father must've sent them all to either Rapunzel or you.

You felt very entertained by the fact that some guards were now protecting your empty room from any outsiders.

You sneaked outside, making sure to breathe silently.

Wait a second, was that Raps? Along with Eugene, Hook Hand, Shorty, Lance, Attila, Vladimir, Ulf the mime and Big Nose?

You were standing outside of their view, behind a column. Your sister spoke to the others.

"Wait! Shouldn't we go and get (Y/N) too?"

Eugene cringed slightly.

"Oh, yeah, uh, funny story actually, we didn't plan her in."
