Varian stood frozen as he watched the chaos unfold in front of him.

He didn't move when the guards rushed to catch (Y/N), he didn't move when a white rock sprouted right in front of him.

Instead, his jaw fell open and he couldn't form even one logical thought.

Had that really just happened?

So (Y/N) was the one causing the white rocks?

Well, that explained some things.

Still, he had many questions that were left unanswered.

Why did (Y/N) have powers?

When did she get powers?

How did she do that?

What was the science behind it?

What had he missed?

But what haunted his mind was how absolutely petrified look.

She was scared of herself.

And so were the others.

He saw how you looked at your hands while shaking.

In a way, this was all working out in the exact way he had hoped.

Her own people had betrayed her now. The same way they had betrayed him.

The frightened guests soon turned into an angry mob, demanding answers from the queen, who only sat and watched, trying to calm everyone down.

Meanwhile the king spoke to the head of the royal guards, giving out orders to track the young princess down as soon as possible.

This was what he had been sure of.

This was part of his plan to get her to join him.

The inevitable had happened.

The whole kingdom, well, maybe even all of the 7 kingdoms had turned on her.

But was this really what he had wanted?

A dark, sick, bitter part of him did want this. For (Y/N) to fall into the depths of despair.

After all, she'd be very easy to influence.

He'd be able get her to join his side in no time.

He'd have her under his control, by his side.

Well, as far as she allowed it.

(Y/N) had always been extremely perceptive.

At least to a certain extent, she'd be able to resist any mind-games.
