-------------------Damien's POV: -------------------

"And this is my house." I said, stepping out of the car. Percy followed after, her eyes widening as she looked between me and the house. I could almost hear the 'Wow! That's such a nice house!' Or something along those lines already.

That dream was soon cut short by a slap to the arm. I furrowed my brows as I turned to Percy who had a borderline angry expression. "Dude! If I'd known you lived in someplace like this, I would've worn something nice, not this!!" Alfred chuckled as he walked over to us.

"I assure you miss Jackson, what you're wearing is already suitable." Percy didn't look convinced but nodded.

"If you say so..." She mumbled turning to me. "Now, what're we gonna do?" She asked, turning back to the house.

I let out a short breath, ignoring the lingering pain in my arm as I began walking towards the house. "I was thinking we could watch a movie. I've been meaning to watch this horror movie, and I believe you expressed an interest in it a whi-"

"Oh yeah! That movie you were super excited about!" Percy said, catching up as she walked beside me. I narrowed my eyes at her as I saw a slight smile from Alfred out of the corner of my eye.

"Yes, that one. Then afterwards we can figure something out." She nodded, a smile clear on her face. I couldn't help but notice that Percy seemed a lot more relaxed than I'd seen her before, especially from when she came out the alley. I'd tried asking her about that in the car but she would push it off as nothing serious and yet the hesitant smiles and laughs told a different story.

Alfred guided the both of us inside, and from there I guided Percy through the house, or at least I tried to guide her, but she continuously kept getting stuck looking around, which was normal, until she began mumbling about the architecture.

Another odd thing to know about Percy was that apparently, she was really into architecture.

Eventually we made it to the movie room, the room was already dark so we both took a seat before I took the remote.

"People must love this place huh?" Percy asked, I looked over to see her intently watching the screen.

"Well yeah, they like the manor but no one but my brother's friends come in here." I grumbled, remembering the time Wally and Dick accidentally broke the window because they threw a popcorn bowl from anger at the outcome of the movie.

"So, what do you and your friends do?" She asked, turning to face me. I turned away and shrugged.

"Nothing really." She paused before continuing.

"Right well then when you're with me we can do stuff." I could hear her smile, I couldn't help but ease up as well, finally finding the movie I'd been wanting to see.

"Master Damien, Miss Jackson, I've brought some snacks," Alfred said, prompting the both of us to turn towards his direction. He handed Percy a bowl of popcorn before turning to me with another bowl. "If you'd like I also have some cookies that I will be making soon I could br-"

"Yes please!" Percy quickly said before pausing, coughing into her hand as she leaned back in her seat. "I mean, if you wouldn't mind?" Alfred smiled warmly and nodded.

"Of course, enjoy your movie you two." With that he left, and I turned to Percy.

"You really like cookies that much?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well yeah, they're like the perfect confection" Percy said in a matter-of-fact tone. I shook my head as I turned back to the tv.

"Agree to disagree." With that I started the movie as I placed the remote to the side and dug my hand into the popcorn.
