Scott adjusted his hat before stepping away from his house in the wall,that's what the majority of the houses were anyway so no one could complain

His ears slightly wiggled at the sound of light footsteps running with a slight jump in between,turning around he was faced with the pure white rat known as Lizzie

A grin appeared in the shorters face while she approached the slightly tanned rat,stopping right in front of him "This is your house?"

"Yup,I just need some materials to actually build" the cyanette explained before thinking "I also need stuff too make a garden" he happily clapped before putting his hands in his pockets "Then I can give Jimmy a red flower"

The pink haired rat giggled at his reaction,sitting down on the stairs before being joined by the taller "Yeah I wanted to walk about that,Jimmy still has that flower safe" she rolled her eyes slightly,his whole thing was safety "He was asking me if I had clay or something to make a flower pot"

A comfortable silence fell between the two,the noises of the humans downstairs and the other rats could be heard,two of the many voices being the safety rat and the garbage rat,Oli as he kept doing unsafe things

However a sigh escaped her lips while looking in the direction of their voices "He cares a lot you know?" She glanced back at the other "Like a lot,if it was anyone else he'd propose lecture them about the dangers of the outside"

That caused the cyanette to laugh before a soft smile made its way into his face "I know Liz,trust me I know" he leaned back slightly on the wooden stairs "I care about him too and that's why I care about his safety,cause as the safety rat,he isn't quite.." he stopped for a second waiting for the baker to finish his sentence

"Safe?" with that the two burst out laughing,causing the others passing to turn their head and become confused however that didn't concern them

They eventually calmed down,both wiping tears from their eyes while trying to steady their breathing,the pure white rat stood up "Best be off! My cake will be done soon and we don't want that burning" she laughed before slightly hopping down the steps and walking away

"Give me some!" He yelled after her before she was completely out of earshot to which he smiled and sighed for the umpteenth time before walking into his makeshift house to come up with some  ideas
