Chapter 5

Selena's Pov

As I gave Dylan my address I quickly hopped into the car and drove home . I was really excited to work with Dylan I mean people tell me he was a great actor and I think he's pretty cute. Wait ? Did I just call Dylan cute ? Ew he's my brothers best friend how could I say that ?! I mean if he's anything like Tyler he's dead.

Now , Tyler's the reason why I don't have a social life I mean when we were kids we were really close until he turned into the big brother he is now . I mean I still love him and all but it's just that he's too overly protective. When I was in high school I dated a guy named Zac and when I brought him home Tyler interrogated him for an hour and basically chased all my boyfriends away . That's why I became more distant and secretive towards him and that's why I haven't told him about Justin. You see Justin's my boyfriend and if you're wondering yes Justin as in Justin Bieber. We've been dating for a while , I met him when recording for my album. I'm surprised the paparazzi haven't found out yet I mean shouldn't they be the first to know ? Whatever we don't really wanna go out in public yet so we date away from the public eye so maybe that's why they didn't find out yet.

A few minutes later I reached my apartment and quickly cleaned up the house before he arrives.

*knock , knock , knock*

"Hey Dylan !"

"Hi , Selena." He said with a smile. Wow he has a really cute smiles especially with his dimples sticking out.

After an hour practicing I thought so stopped and just starting talking. Dylan's actually really nice and really easy to talk to.

"So Dylan , tell me about you ." I asked trying to make conversation

Dylan: "Uhhh , there isn't much about me really . Let's see I was born in New York , I love the New York Mets , I have a little sister and my best friends Tyler"

"Wow you're from New York ? I'd love to go there one day!" It's true I love New York I love the big city , seeing high buildings it's Just a place I'd want to liver me day .

"Really ? There's not much there really. I mean maybe cause I was born there but it's just as good here." He said with a cheeky smile. I just love his smile I mean his smile can make anything better, it can literally light you the room. Hold up ! Dylan's my brothers friend I shouldn't be thinking about him like this plus I have a boyfriend. But , I couldn't help it he seems so easy to get along .

"So why are you and Tyler friends ?" I asked. I need something to break the silence and plus it was getting kinda awkward.

Dylan :"I don't know I mean the first day we met and started talking I guess something clicked and over time Tyler and I became friends. We actually have a lot in common"

"Really ? I mean you seem more chilled and relaxed unlikely Tyler."

"That's not true ! I can be tuff and protective like Tyler ." He said while puffing out his chest. It was funny seeing Dylan trying to act of tough.

"Yeah sure , but no I think you're pretty cool though, I mean thought you were gonna be like a exact copy of Tyler I mean usually that's what Tyler's friends are like but you're pretty coo . I like you I think we're gonna be great friends. So what do you say friend ?" And when I said that his eyes glistened with happiness. I actually really like Dylan I mean he's actually pretty cool .

Dylan's Pov

Did she actually she just say she liked me ?!? I can't believe it ! I mean sure it's not like boyfriend and girlfriends like but I like you is it close .

"Hello ??? Earth to Dylan ???" She said quickly snapping me outta my thoughts.

"Uh yea ?" I said. Damn that sounded stupid.

"I said wanna be friends ?" Wow I actually didn't think I'd be friends with her so fast I mean it's only been 2 days since we met.

"Yea , friends" I said with a huge smile on my face . I probably look like a idiot right now but , hey I couldn't help it , I just became her friend.
