Chapter 25

-Dylan-

It's the day before New Years Eve. Lately we haven't been doing much just mainly pigging out from all the leftover food.

Today we're flying back to New York. Again. Selena got a last minute call from her manager and apparently this girl named Becky G couldn't make it , so they needed someone to fill in and Selena was happy to take that offer.

Tyler , Daniella and Derek would be staying behind since Selena's parents wanted most of her kids to be home and Tyler didn't trust Selena going alone to New York he told me to go to. So I was happily willing to volunteer and go spend time in New Years Eve with Selena.

"Dylan , are you ready ?" Selena shouted from the bottom of the stairs.

"Yeah I'm coming !"

I grabbed my luggage and carried it down the stairs as I gave it to the taxi driver to put it in the trunk.

"Where to ?" The driver asked.

"LAX airport please."Selena told him.

Not long after Selena fell asleep on the way to the airport as I had to shook to wake her up.

"Selena" I said while shaking her.

"Wakey wakey." I sang.

"Mmm 5 more minutes." She mumbled.

"You're gonna miss the flight."

"Crap !" Her eye were soon wide open as hopped out of the car receiving her luggage and we began to scurry away to check in.

We made it just in time as they began to call our flight.

All passengers heading from LAX airport to JFK airport please head to your gate now. Please have all documents ready.

"Phew , good thing we made it on time." She sighed.

"Yeah , we would have been earlier if you weren't such a heavy sleeper."

"Yeah right."

We made our way down to our seats as Selena slipped on her headphones and went back to sleep again.

I let my mind wonder off again as I hope there would be some type of miracle that'll happen in New York.

Not long after we landed in New York making our way to the hotel which was close to Time Square , I looked around to see the busy streets as people were getting to and from work and surprising the traffic wasn't too busy.

We soon reached the hotel and paid the taxi driver. Entering the hotel we quickly went to check in and went to the suite we were sharing since the hotel was fully booked.

"Woah." Selena said as soon as she stepped into the room.

The room was huge , it had a kitchen , living room and a bed room with two beds.

"This was bigger than my last room !" Selena squealed.

I chuckled as I put our luggages in the bed room.

"I call the one beside the window !"
Selena said while flopping onto the bed.

"What's with you and windows ?" I asked.

"They have the best view."

"I guess." I shrugged.

Walking over the other side of the room , I started to grab my stuff and began to unpack.

"Dylan , what do you want for dinner ?"

"Are you calling room service ?"

"No , I'm going outside to buy it." Selena said sarcastically.
