"What the fuck are you doing here, Yuri?!"
"That's not a good way to greet your twin. A simple hello would be appreciated." Niyakap ako ni Yuri, habang si Kai, nakatingin pa rin sa akin. I can see her in my peripheral view. "So, what's up?"
Funny. I always wanted our first meeting, yung as in formally ko siyang makikilala na hindi ako lasing, to be magical and all, and then, this happened. I was supposed to be wearing something that can catch her attention, but instead, I'm wearing nothing but my underwear. Great.
"I'm almost naked and you expect me to say a stupid hello?" I pointed at Kai without looking at her. "And besides, you're not alone. A little privacy, please."
"May point."
"Ah, thank you."
"So, what are your plans for this coming year? Magtitino ka na?" My twin handed me a robe. I saw Kai step back and look away, holding her chest. God, did I scare this adorable human being because of my hot physique?
"There are no plans."
"Are you moving back to the states, then?" I ran as fast as I could to my room. Wait, did I hear my sister scolding her girlfriend for looking at me? Ah, baka guni-guni ko lang. At isa pa, bakit parang lagi niyang tinatanong kung babalik ako ng San Francisco? Is she getting rid of me? I hope not.
"I told you to wait for me in Scarlett Ma-"
"May date ang ating ina ngayon sa bahay. Sabi niya, doon daw tayo mag-celebrate, pero I declined her offer. I want her to have some time alone with ate Iris," Sagot sa akin ni Yuri. "Sinabi ko na lang na pupunta tayo dun after ng putukan." May dala silang pagkain. Hala, puro carbs. Sige na nga, bagong taon naman. "Oh, and you remember Kai, right?"
"Of course, I do, she's the love of my life," Bulong ko habang nagdadamit. I chose to wear a navy blue-colored short shorts tonight, and a loose gray-colored Skater tee. Itinupi ko rin ng dalawang beses ang aking manggas. Ayokong matalbugan si Yuri, so I didn't dress to impress tonight. Okay na 'to, mabango naman ako tignan, eh. Simple lang. "Yeah, Kai, your girl."
"Yes, mine."
"Ano'ng plano, then?"
"Are you tryna get rid of me so you can have Scarlet U by yourself?" Hindi siya sumagot. Kahit hindi sabihin ni Yuri, alam kong minsan naiinggit sa akin ang aking kapatid. "Sister, please, buy your girl a decent wine. Naubusan na kasi ako and you didn't bring any," Utos ko sa aking kapatid, habang itinatali ang aking buhok pataas. Tequila ba naman ang dala, baka ano'ng magawa ko, eh. Pass po.
"'Kay, I'll be back."
I walked outside, fixing my bun, making me accidentally bump into her. This cliché is so... ugh! "I, um, err, hey." I paused and let out a sigh. Breathe, bitch, breathe. "Jesus Christ, you're beautiful."
"Um, thanks?"
"W-where is Y-yuri?"
"Um, 'di ba, inutusan mo siya?"
"Oh, yeah, I, uh, forgot."
"Why are you stuttering?"
