Little bit of backstory...  I recently moved in with my sister, Penelope Garcia. I am going to college for criminal justice. I want to work in the BAU along with my sister and her friends. Oh, did I mention that I am dating the big boss, Aaron Hotchner?

I was staying late at the library studying because I had a test coming up. The librarian loves me and how hard I study so she lets me stay as long as I want as long as I lock up with the key, she made for me. Garcia had told me that she was going on a date and didn't know when she'd be back but would tell me when she had an estimated time. She texted me that an hour ago, but she just texted me again.

Penny: Hey, I'll be home in like an hour or so

Lil sis: Okay, I might be home. Don't know when I'm going to stop studying.

Penny: Just make sure you let me know when you leave and get home

Lil sis: Ik ik, just so you can make sure I'm safe and didn't get kidnapped. Love you

Penny: Love you too

I put my phone down and continued studying. After some time, I look at the clock and see that an hour has passed. Damn, time flies when you are studying. I pack up my stuff, text Garcia that I'm heading home, and leave the library. Garcia's house wasn't that far from the library, so I didn't feel the need to call a cab. I turned the corner to the house and saw Garcia, lying there on the steps, bleeding, with a bullet wound in her chest. I ran over and started putting pressure on the wound, as I am doing that, I pulled out my phone and called 911.

After like 5-10 minutes an ambulance came, they put her on the stretcher and into the ambulance.

"Can I go with her? I'm her sister" I ask

"Yeah, get in," one of the EMTs said.

I got in and they closed the door. I grab Garcia's hand, and hope that she will be okay. The EMTs were asking her questions to see if she was conscious. Eventually we got to the hospital, and they brought her right into surgery. I went into the waiting room and called Hotch

"Hotchner," he answers the phone

"Aaron, come to the hospital with the team" I say

"Why? Is everything okay?"

"N-no, Garcia was shot" I stutter, holding back tears

"We will be there as soon as possible. Derek isn't with us so I'll call him and have him meet us there"

"Please hurry"

"We will. I love you"

"I love you too"

As soon as he hung up, I started sobbing. Shortly the team arrived at the hospital, well, everyone except Derek.

Aaron ran up to me and pulled me into a tight embrace, "Hey, it's okay"

I automatically hugged back, "No it's not. I can't lose her Aaron, she's all the family I have left"

He held me close and kissed the top of my head.
