JJ was on a case and wouldn't be back for another day or two so I was alone until then. I had made myself dinner and was grabbing a plate when I accidentally knocked some off the shelf, causing them to fall and break. I looked at the plates and realized they were JJ's favorite. I started panicking about how she would be so mad at me and sank to the floor. I started hyperventilating so I decided to call JJ, her voice always soothes me.
I dial her number and let it ring, no answer. So, I kept trying and still no answer.
Y/n: pick upY/n: please pick upY/n: JJ, please
Still no answer so I decided to call Garcia and see if she could contact JJ.
"Hey boo" Garcia greeted
"H-hey Garcia" I stutter
"Y/n, is everything okay?"
"Can you, um, get in touch with JJ?"
"Yeah, I'll try. Do you want me to stay on the phone with you?"
"Please" It starts getting harder to breathe, "Garcie"
"It's ringing"
"Hey Garcia, whats up?" I hear JJ ask
"I have Y/n on the line" Garcia says
"Y/n? What's wrong?" JJ asks
"Um, Penelope, can you hang up? I wanna talk to just JJ" I say
"Yeah, of course" she exited the call
"Y/n, what's wrong?" JJ asked with a concerned tone in her voice
"I-I think I'm having a panic attack"
"Its okay, just breathe, im right here"
I take a few deep breaths and my breathing slowly goes back to normal, "JJ, I'm sorry"
"For what?"
"Calling you while you are on a case. I know you need to focus"
"Don't ever apologize for calling me while having a panic attack"
"Okay"
"Do you mind telling me what caused it?"
"I was getting a plate and I accidentally broke a few"
"Its okay"
"They were your favorites"
"Awe Y/n, its okay. Are you okay? Did you get hurt?"
"I'm fine, I didn't get hurt. I knew they were your favorites and I didn't want you to get mad at me"
I hear someone in the background call her name saying they got a name and address on the unsub, "are you sure you're okay?"
"Yeah, go catch the unsub"
"I'll see you when I get home"
"See you then,"
"I love you"
"I love you so much more"
JJ is the best.
