I woke up to get ready for work and I noticed a dark spot on the bed. I turned the light on to see a red spot, noooo. I ran into the bathroom and took care of it. Within the first hour of having my period, my mood was swinging strong. I wanted chocolate chip waffles for breakfast but I didn't have any, so I started crying. Then I noticed I was out of coffee so I stormed around my apartment to get my things and leave.

I walked into Quantico and went up to the BAU. I walked in the bull pen and sat at my desk then put my head down. A few minutes later, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I look up and see Spencer.

"Y/n, are you okay" Spencer asks.

"Just peachy" I say sarcastically and put my head back down.

"I'll leave you alone then."

I just sat at my desk with my head down when I smelt something. I know that smell, COFFEE!! I look up and see Garcia coming over to me with a coffee.

She hands it to me, "This is for you."

My eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas, "Thank you, thank you, thank you."

"Anytime, my beautiful dove"

The coffee put me in a good mood for about an hour. What shoved me out of my good mood was cramps. Excruciating, painful, period cramps. I dug through my purse to find midol but I couldn't find any. I started tearing up and Derek came over to me.

"Hey pretty girl, you alright?" Derek asked.

"I'm fine." I snapped, "I just need to find JJ" I got up and went off to JJ's office.

I knock on the door and go in once I get the okay, I close the door behind me.

"Y/n, are you okay?" JJ asked, clearly seeing my face.

"Do you have any midol?"

"Yes, I do. Do you need some?"

I wipe my tears, "Yeah. Thanks JJ"

She hands me the pills, "Of course. Anything else?"

"I'm good. You really are the mom of the team."

"I'm going to take that as a compliment."

I chuckle, "thanks JJ. Love you"

This team is my family, they don't find it weird when I tell them I love them.

I went back to my desk only for Hotch to come out of his office and call me in, "Y/n, my office please."

"Got it" I stood up and went into his office.

He motions toward the couch, and I sit down.

"Is everything okay?" Hotch asks.

"Why is everyone asking me this? I'm fine."

"You gave Reid sarcasm and snapped at Derek. You never snap at people."

"I'm fine, Hotch."

"Y/n"

"Let's just go with I'm not pregnant."

It took a second for it to click, "Ohh. You can take a nap in my office if you need."

"Really?"

"Yeah,"

"I might take you up on that offer, just don't fire me for sleeping on the job."

"I offered and if Strauss does a surprise visit, then I will cover for you."

"Thanks, you're the best."

I ended up taking a 1.5 hour nap on the couch in Hotch's office.
