Mon. 14

Genuinely, I'm typing these lines at a quarter to 1 am :p these days are unexpectedly (?) hectic! I thought that it would be relaxing as there was a trip, but not. Lemme progressively reveal it through each day.

Today, I went on the stage to receive my prize! I got 300 thousand (please allow me to harbor the currency). The evening before, I had been so thrilled and exhilarated, I had prepared lipstick to do natural make-up, and today, everything went smoothly. fortunately, this year's competition is right next to the commemorative week, thus, students can benefit a lot:) We received applause as if we had never before, and were taken photos. (Hope that my face won't be hideous in those). I showed off my money to my parents and bro, they were so happy and proud. Now I don't regret my decision: dedicating a month to crawl on historical papers and documents and get the third rank.

That's all as I'm drowsy :( But stay w this diary, I promise this week is gonna be a blast!

Today is kinda fun though, there are lots of burdens. I spent more than an hour practicing IELTS speaking mock and gradually cottoned on that this speaking stuff is unbelievably arduous to achieve high scores. I still have a year ahead to strive, I'll do my best !!! Not only does English press me right before and after the trip, but Maths and Literature are heavy as well. I guess I'm going to take 2 tests tomorrow:D

Today, my photo was posted on (please leave a blank here)! I mean, yesterday when I went on the stage, remember? I was pretty nice (and solemn) in that photo. What a pride !?

Surprise! I haven't written anything for 4 days straight as I have tons of stuff to care about.

First thing first, I went to Mai Chau with my friends! I mean, my school. The stilt house in which we lived was rather good, and the food was better than expected, yet the view and the position were not scenic at all. It was densely populated, packed with students from other classes. The roads are sewed with electric trams, bicycles, and pedestrians. My bffs went to a road amid a field that was by far less traveled by people, we took photos, did dumb stuff, and filmed videos :D

Mai Chau, unsurprisingly, did not have so many things to do but enjoy our only night there. We watched the whole entertainment program, many dancing performances from a variety of classes and clubs, and in the passage of time, we danced around an enormous bonfire. Kinda fun, but really grueling. After that night, I had to sleep more than 8 hours to recharge myself:(

Coming back home, I spent the whole evening watching films: Zootopia and Atomic Blonde. Zootopia was real fun and adorable, I love Nick and Bunny being together:3 Of course I watched them all in English, even without any subtitles, yet I still find it time-consuming:((

Tomorrow I will try my best to finish my extra work and homework! I think now it's time to sleep.

Sun. 20

World Cup day guys! I watched the Opening ceremony of World Cup 2022 in the living room. Via our screen, I felt as if I had been sitting in the Al Bayt stadium with thousands of people, cheering, dancing, and immersing in plenty of performances. The main theme song was great, the singers from Qatar was incredibly beautiful and they had special rhythms(I mean, their language is different from mine, hence I felt rather excited to listen to them, for instance, an early female singer). I had a chance to rewind previous years of World Cup in Brazil, Korea, South Africa,... and each nation's animal. I was also impressed by the story of Qatar's football history, especially the commencement of the ceremony - when they showed a short yet extraordinary video about their history! That video was stunning and inspiring! I admire the way they thrived to be a well-heeled country while worked hard to prepare for such a blast! (The stadium, animal, logo,...are so meaningful)

After 20 minutes watching and some more to contemplate all the things, I've made up my mind to enlarge my channel's broadcast line-up. There's gonna be some videos about Qatar :4
