November - December [transition]

Mon. 29

A day has passed by, and we're here again to talk about my week. Let's have a sip of tea or coffee and stay up with me as I have lots of stuff to do.

Today perhaps is the first day my department collaborate. Almost everyone builds up a little bit in order to create a flawless translation for our club. This makes me pretty happy. Honestly, today is not really interesting :( since I'm just practicing and doing homework intensively and extensively so as to pass all the arriving tests. Yeh but what is expected to come will come, let's wait for it.

Tue. 29

As I expected, today is more fascinating... yet in a disconcerting way.

Idk why but today is crazily dry and scorching. I feel itchy all over my body (my body reacts with the change of temperature). The weather forecaster said it would be extremely cold the following days, and I'm looking forward to those days. At least, no itchiness will be sensed.

Apart from that, my sneakers eventually arrived! They cost an arm and a leg (for me at least), but in return, they're really pretty, and they live up to my expectations. I've been longing for a pair of black and white, classical shoes. Undoubtedly, this pair is wholly what I love! The delivery box is also neat and beautiful! Can't wait to take a photo of it! I think I'll use those shoes on special occasions, and normally I still utilize my Vans.

Idk this is by accident or anything but today I read a book at my school's library which is named "The ultimate sneaker book". And it's completely written in English! So elated! I read up on it continually and I was engrossed with the history of well-known shoes brands such as Vans, Converse All Star, New Balance, Adidas,... I cottoned on a fact that almost all of them are derived from America, especially basketball players and so-called cool street guys. Such is the book that I am impressed by its thickness and unique smell. I'll come back for it later.

Though tired, I'm still putting these lines down.

Today I cane across so many lights from roadside stores, which made me thought about how to reduce light pollution, or at least, decrease the amount of energy put into producing unnecessary lights. Lights from billboards, dozens of lights from a single store, lights from each room of each house,... though I know they are somehow needed, I still find that they're frills. We turn on electric lights just because we feel we need to enlighten the entire room. We turn on lamps any time we hit the sack as we feel we need to do that. But for most of the time, we don't really need them.

After that moment, when I cottoned on the solemn situation, I am now determined not to waste electricity. Just by switching off the lights whenever I go out, or turning off electric devices when I don't use them (for instance the computer, don't open it around the clock), I have contributed tiny things to save the world. And I believe, if we all do mini things, we'll create gigantic results.

Because we have done enough hazardous things to ruin the natural world and ourselves, now it's time to slow down the deteriorating progress. Please turn off the lights now. It's time for bed.

Thu. 1

Good night December! Today it's freezing cold with some people yet not me, as I have bundled up early this morning. Everyone wears thick, warm clothes, the gusts of wind rages all over the city, the trees sway as if they danced with the blue sky. Yes, this is a rather perfect weather!

Studies aside, let's say that this month is gonna be great, as everyone and everywhere is preparing for Christmas! I also wanna go to the giant Christmas tree in New York :( I also want to immerse in the snow and decorate the house. ... unfortunately, I do not have a chance to do that this year. However, seeing people  in a hurry and joy also makes me cheerful. This time of the year is always filled with family memories and reunions, isn't it?

Time has passed quite quickly, here comes winter again. Happy winter!

I don't want to confess that I had a toe-curling moment today in front of my classmates, yet let's talk about positive things.

I'm gonna make a 2022 rewind video! December has just dawned on me that the end of the year is on the way, hence, I must do something to recapitulate all of my feelings, memories and activities. It's gonna be premiered, stay tune!

Just a quick 2-day review heh

I went to my hometown, watched beautiful skies, roads, streets along the way, and I had a chance to immerse in the absolute ethereal world. I rode a motorcycle once again after a few months. I enjoyed the real, bleak atmosphere of the early morning. Just so lovely.

I am having some interesting stuff with my class, hence, the following weeks are gonna be both fascinating and stressful:3

Btw, my lovely character's birthday is coming. I want to send my most sincere words to her. You have made my years, my dreams, my recreation and my inspiration girl!
