NOTE:

this one shot is inspired by a part in a tmf fanfic called "Delicate Love"

Hailey Sterling was sitting on her shared bed, fidgeting with her hands as she looked out their window into the starry night

"Tonight is the night, Hailey! You're gonna tell him tonight!"
Hailey mentally screamed at herself

Jake was downstairs watching a tv show, as Hailey was dreading him coming up into their room

Jake was tired, getting ready for bed, started coming up the stairs, of course, Hailey didn't hear, she was lost in her own thoughts.

Jake slowly opens the door, expecting Hailey to be asleep, but she wasn't.

He silently walks over

"Hailey..?"

She jumps and looks at Jake

She puts her hand on her chest and giggles "You scared me!"

"Sorry honey, just coming to bed."

Haileys nerves overcome her as she awkwardly moves to the edge of the bed and pats the spot next to her while looking at Jake, signaling for him to sit down.

Jake sits down confused

"Jake... There's something I need to tell you."

Jake gets nervous and says "I'm listening."

"I-"
Hailey can barely speak

She's scared how Jake will react to it, her eyes start tearing up.

Jake notices this and looks at Hailey worryingly
"Hailey! A-Are you okay??!"

A tear falls down her cheek as she pulls Jake in for an embrace

They were like that for a few seconds  before Hailey pulled away

"What's wrong Hailey.. Talk to me..."

"I'm just... scared. How you would react to me telling you what I need to say."

Jake takes both of Haileys hands into his, catching her attention as they both look into each others eyes.

"Baby.. You should know that I would *never* under any circumstance, judge anything you have to tell me."

Another tear falls down her face as she was more confident than ever.

"Jake.."

......

"i'm pregnant!"

Jake eyes go wide as excitement floods over his entire body, he disconnects Hailey and his hands

Hailey was nervous at Jakes reaction, wondering what he would say next.

"Hailey.. That's.. That's wonderful..."
Jake manages to sputter out

Relief overtakes Haileys body as she sighs, and looks back at Jake

she could tell he was very excited.

"Hailey, I love you so much... What ever gender our beautiful baby is, I will love you and them so so much."

Hailey smiles at Jake and hugs him

"Thank you for that, Jake."

They pull apart and Jake looks at Haileys stomach

You could notice kind of a baby bump

"How long have you been pregnant?"

I found out a week ago, but i'm pretty sure i got pregnant a few weeks before that.

Jake hand slowly moved to Haileys belly.

"May I?" He asks

Hailey nods

Jake slowly rubs her stomach, feeling the bump even more.

He releases his hand as he pushes and positions Hailey down on the bed

He wraps his arm around her as Hailey turns off the bedside lamp

"I love you princess."

"I love you too."

as they both fall asleep
