This is Jake, Hailey, Bethany and Milo.
Did Jake and Hailey decided to play this? No. Jake was over at Haileys, he also brought Milo because he seemed bored so he can hang out with Bethany. (12 yo with a 7 yo? eh, who cares ig 🤷‍♀️)

They had both insisted they play together.

So unless they wanted a tempered 7 year old plus a 12 year old, they had no choice but to play.

Flashback
Bethany's room

"Soooo I want Hailey as a princess, and Jake as a prince!" Bethany explains excitedly

Hailey shared a glance at Jake, him reciprocating as they both walk out of the room to get changed.

Hailey was wearing one of her mums sparkly purple dresses, and Jake was wearing Zander's costume. (zander had a prince costume because bethy would force him to play with her too)

Both were standing in her room, in costume and were about ready to play.
"Wait!" Bethany realizes

"Bend down, Hailey" Bethany orders.
Hailey being confused, she crouches down while Bethany searches for something in her closet.

"Aha!" Bethy shuffles over to Hailey and carefully places a plastic crown on her head

"Perfect! Now we can start." Bethany says jumping up and down in her place, secretly sharing a smirk at Milo, him doing the same

Present

Currently, Hailey was behind bars.
What I mean is Bethy set up a cage to capture the princess. It was made by pillows and random stuff put together.

"Only the prince can save the captured princess with an enchanted kiss!"
Milo and Bethany explain, pretending to be mischievous and evil.

Jake and Hailey share another glance, knowing they both had a non verbal agreement to not actually kiss.

Jake, walking over to the "cage" holds his hand out and helps her up.
He proceeds to fake kiss Hailey, their faces not even close to each others.

"No no no!" Bethany stomps "You have to have a real kiss!"

Hailey sighs "We can't Bethy.."
"But why! Mom and Dad do it all the time!"

The two started bickering. Jake was just watching helplessly not knowing what to do. He looks at Milo hoping he felt the same, but he had a grin on face, pointing at Hailey like he wanted them to kiss or something.

Jake looks at Hailey, taking her chin and turning her head to where she could see him. Quickly he gives Hailey a peck on the lips, immediately pulling away after.

Haileys cheeks grew red instantly, while she was staring at the floor, trying to comprehend what happened.
She looks back up at him, seeing he was attempting to cover himself, his hands over his face.

Hailey walks up to Jake, taking his hands off of his face, going on her tiptoes, kisses him again.

Jake was shocked by this but soon did the same, his hands on her hips.

Milo and Bethany look at each other once again, giving each other a high five.

"Mission success!" They say in unison
