Jake was laying in his bed with a tissue box next to him, pulling tissues out here and there.
If you couldn't tell, Jake had caught a cold. His nose was lightly tinted red, indicating he indeed was. Since he was, he called over his girlfriend to be there with him.

Jake heard 3 knocks on his door
"Must be Hailey."

"Come in!"
Jake quietly yelled, hoping she could hear him
Fortunately, she did, and she slowly opened the door and peeked her head through the door.
"Hi honey. Are you feeling any better?" She asks him

She let herself through the door and shut it behind her.
"I'm already feeling a bit better because you're here."
Jake grins at her
Hailey giggles back as she walks over to Jakes bed and sits herself next to him

Hailey had brought a backpack with her, so he wondered what she needed to bring
"Hailey, what's in that bag? I thought you were just coming to check on me."
"Right. I brought something for you, hopefully it'll make you feel better.
She bends down and picks up her bag, unzipping it. She reaches into it and she reveals a bowl.
"I brought you some warm chicken soup." She looks over at Jake with a smile.

She removes the top as Jake smells the soup, starting to crave it.
Hailey reaches for the spoon that's hidden away in a small container, revealing the spoon as well.
She turned to Jake and gets a spoonful of soup moving it a bit towards Jakes mouth

He gets the hint and opens his mouth, Hailey then puts the spoonful into his mouth, letting him eat.
"You really didn't need to bring me soup, Hails."
"Well, I want to do anything to help you, you're sick after all."

Jake grabs a tissue from his tissue box
Achoo!

About 30 ish minutes later

Hailey had fed Jake the entire bowl of soup. Jake was still kind of craving more, but one bowl was enough.
"How do you feel now, Jake?"

"I definitely feel a lot better, thank you, Hailey."
"No problem, I care about you, so i'll do anything to make you feel better."
Hailey crawls up onto the bed with Jake, making him confused.

She sits cross cross, then starts to move Jakes head onto her shoulder, making him kind of lay on her
"Can we cuddle, hun?" she asks him
"But Hailey, im sick... I don't want you to get whatever I have.."
Jake looked up at Hailey and sees she has a pout on her lip.
"Just shut up and let me hold you... I don't care if I get sick."

Achoo!

Jake sneezes, which causes Hailey to grab a tissue, handing it to him after.
"Thank you again Hailey, for just being here with me.." Jake grins at Hailey,
her replying with, "Like I said, I care about you..." Hailey grins back and gives Jake a kiss on the forehead.

A week later

Achoo!
Hailey grabs a tissue and blows her nose
"What did I say..?"
Jake says grinning at Hailey
"Yes I know you said I would get sick.." Hailey replies

This time, Jake was at Haileys, and she was the one who was sick

Guess she should've listened to Jake 🤷‍♀️
