Nagi x reader BLUE LOCK

Chapter 30

   You and the rest of team Z were in the locker room. The score was 3-2 so the team was pumped. Team Z was making a comeback, after all, and there was nothing that could douse your flame at this point.

   "We can tie this game up then beat them!" You smiled.

   "Yeah!" The rest of team Z spoke.

   "This formation is pretty good, from here on out I believe that when y/n has a plan, its best that we follow it." Iemon said, taking you by surprise, "she can score if no one distracts her.. and I trust her passing judgement as well."

   You smiled, knowing now that team Z had faith in your abilities.

Meanwhile in team V's locker room...

   "Victory belongs to team V.." reo spoke.

   The locker room went silent for a bit before he continued, "It's best that we switch to the defensive side for now.."

    "I cant believe that red-haired brat called me stupid without me noticing! Ill end him.." Zangetsu spoke, clearly pissed off.

   "Use that to fuel a fire. We can't allow ourselves to lose here.. and nagi..." Reo spoke.

   "Hm?" Nagi tilted his head.

   "I'll guard y/n from here on out. I don't know how she does it, but her abilities surpass your average lackey." Reo frowned.

  Nagi frowned, "but guarding y/n is interesting~ are you trying to separate us? Are you jealous that im having more fun than you?"

   Reo was shocked that nagi was talking to him like this, "fine... but if she scores another goal, then I'll take matters into my own hands.."

Back to the game...

   Kunigami took up the ball from the kickoff. Team Z guarded him more now knowing what he could do. Admittedly, you felt something off. It felt like tons of people hated you.

   Kunigami passed the ball to bachira and bachira passed the ball to gagamaru. Gagamaru almost scored a goal with his spring-like body, but Zangetsu kicked it out of the goal's way. Isagi then received the ball and tried scoring it, but was blocked by one of team V's members.

   "You waste a lot of chances.." you heard nagi say to Isagi while running down the field.

   You followed them down field when suddenly, the ball was lying at your feet. Isagi had passed it to you. You picked up the ball, immediately understanding Isagi's plan. Your heart began beating faster and faster.

Meanwhile with ego and anri...

   "So... not only is y/n able to get into the 'zone,' but she is also able to think fast.." ego thought out loud.

   "What should we do?" Anri asked.

   "Observe." Ego responded, "we will arrange her rank once this game is over. And as planned earlier, we will execute this test phase."

   Anri nodded and continued to watch the game with ego.
