Chapter 33

"What should we do.. how can we stop him?" Kunigami asked, realizing the danger team Z was in.

You clenched your fist and switched your menacing aura with an aura of determination. You smirked as you spoke, "well then, lets just attack!"

Isagi and bachira started with the ball. Bachira used his dribbling skills to dribble down the field some before passing the ball to chigiri. From there, it was a contest of speed between zantetsu and chigiri.

Chigiri beat zantetsu, but Nagi was already there standing right in front of the ball. This is where you came in to save the day. Seeing that Nagi was about to get the ball, you swiftly dashed in front of him and took it back.

Luring Nagi out of chigiri's path, you then passed it back to chigiri.

"Ill take it from here." Chigiri spoke as he continued to run towards the goal.

Eventually, chigiri launched the ball towards the goal, but the goalkeeper smacked it back with his left fingertips. Gagamaru then ran up and tried to score in the middle of the goal, only to be blocked by the goalkeeper.

However, scoring wasn't gagamaru's goal. His goal was to give you time and a good scoring spot. You ran faster towards the goal and received the ball.

"Stop her! Nagi!" Reo yelled.

Then, out of the corner of your eye, you spotted nagi approaching you.

I'll end your misery here and now. you narrowed your eyes.

You then took a quick glance at the goalie.

I'm going to have to use more force than usual. Here goes nothing... you thought.

You caught the ball with your right foot, launching it into the air and back onto your left foot. With this, you mustered up as much power as you could to launch the "projectile" into the goal.

The ball hit the net with a 'swish' noise. Nagi was too late.

"HELL YEAH!" Raichi yelled.

"I didn't know you had that kind of power in ya!" Bachira cooed.

You smiled as you proceeded to get back to your spot for the next play.

Team Z was tied up yet again!
