"Bang Aera! Make sure to pay attention!"
Aera flinched when she heard her name echoing in the classroom. Even though she was in front, she could sense that every eye behind her was watching her.
"Sorry miss." Aera gave a slight bow.
Miss Yeojin hummed as she continued her lectures. Meanwhile, Aera looked at the empty space next to her and breathed deeply. She missed her best friend, Jisung.
He will be okay.
Her brother's words came to her mind. She knows Jisung's always okay, but this time she felt something different.
The vibration from her phone caused her to exit the classroom. During the learning session, leaving without permission is not an issue. She was not interested in being caught by Miss Yeonjin again for not paying attention in class.
