MAHEEN
I was preparing breakfast in the kitchen when Ammi (mother-in-law) came into the kitchen.
"ye sab Uma Kar lege Maheen tu sabse sath bahar nasta kro"
(Uma will do all this, you just have breakfast with us)
"Ammi bas thoda sa kam baa.." i was saying when ammi passed me a fake glare.
(Mom it's just....)
With a defeated sigh i followed her in the dinning room.whole Malik family was there except one. One who can never return.
"What's in breakfast today"noor asked who was sitting beside me.
"What else as always reyan's favourite" without lifting my head i know that it was chachi who said that just to taunt me.
(chachi=aunt)
"Raniya muh band nahi rakh sakti app apna atleast let everyone eat peacefully" dadi jaan told chachi to only receive a eye roll.
(Raniya can't you shut your mouth)
As everyone ate their breakfast my mind took me in my past, which i can never forget.As you don't know i am MAHEEN REYAN MALIK.i was married to Reyan it was an arranged marriage. But we accept each other and slowly fall in love.They were the most beautiful days of my life. But those days didn't last long.After marriage's nine month i got pregnant.Our families were very happy.But after a month i received a call from hospital which changed my whole life.Reyan died in a car accident. He lost a lot of blood that's why he didn't survive.After him i was so lost but i have to survive for my baby.
"Maheen why didn't you eat anything"ammi's voice brought me back as i was dozed out.
"Woh jayada bhook nahi ammi mujhe"i told her.
(i'm not that hungry mom)
"You should eat more atleast for the baby"
"Ji ammi"
(ok mom)
After breakfast everyone left and i was also going toward my room when Ayan came toward me.
"Bhabi is zoha coming tomorrow"he asked me.Actually Ayan had a big crush on my younger sister zoha.But only me and reyan know this.
"I think she will come ayan"
"Okay so allah hafiz"
"Allah hafiz"
Ayan is reyan's younger brother. Although he is very talkative but ge never talk to me much.
As I entered my room i felt something.
Like some wrong vibe. But i let it slide as morning sickness.
