I was sitting in the office waiting for my parents, I got into a fight with this bitch, Diana, she was talking shit about bestfriend, Marie Hopper, I definitly wasn't gonna let that slide. oh great there here.......
"Hello, Mr.Arellano, and Mr.Arellano, I'm here to talk about Rinele Arellano, at 12:38 pm she got into a fight with another student, Diana Clarke, her reason and I Quote "She was talking, smack, about my bestfriend, she had it coming""
They both turned around, I couldn't read their faces, they turn back around
"She will be suspended for 3 days, thats all thanks for coming"
we all got up and left, I got into my parents car, and there was just silence
papa broke the silence, " Rinele...........I.....am... so......PROUD OF YOU, did you win?"
I expected a lot of things, this wasnt any of them, I smiled " Of course I did, I don't think her parents would recognize her"
"She got that from me" papa said
"well it wasn't from me" dad said
"how come you guys aren't mad"
"Because your papa did the same when we were young" dad said
"Hell yeah I did, nobody talks shit about the people I love, and it means spending more time with you"
"yeah, but you still have to be punished, no TV tonight" dad said
I smiled "I don't need TV, all I need is music, slap on a Selena song, and I'm good"
"Thats My Girl" papa said
"and maybe some katy perry too"
"Thats your girl" papa said in monotone voice
dad looked at papa with a shocked face, I laughed, then papa started driving home.
