[y/n] throat went tight. "Koshi?" She stuttered out in a whisper. Sugawara let out a short nervous laugh and rubbed the back of his neck. His eyes trailed to the grass growing in [y/n]'s front lawn.
"Before you say anything, would you let me explain myself?" Sugawara asked. [y/n] nodded, letting her eyes look him up and down as if to check if he actually was real. "I know this is absolutely insane and I would've told you about my plan but I couldn't find the right words to say and I thought this would be a good surprise..." he rambled, "but now that I'm standing here, I'm starting to think that was a dumbass idea and I probably just gave you a heart attack." He sighed as [y/n] still stared like seeing was seeing a ghost.
"Look, I love you, I reallyfucking love you," he admitted, she smiled a little, "and I've lost you once because I was stupid and I won't do it again and if that means flying across the world, I'll do it."
"I just want to be with you, I'll figure out the rest later." "This is why you haven't answered my texts in like a whole day?" [y/n] finally spoke up after a few moments of gathering her thoughts in silence. "Yeah..." he cringed at himself. [y/n] then, just burst out laughing, tears almost falling from her eyes. "You're serious?" She spoke between laughs. Sugawara was confused but nodded. "Umm, yeah?" "You know this is the craziest thing someone has ever done for me, like something out of a terrible Hallmark Christmas movie!"
"But I do agree, I really want to be with you too," she smiled after calming down, "if you'll stay." "Well, I'm here now, so I'll guess I'll have to stay," he jokingly shrugged. [y/n] almost threw herself out the door and wrapped her arms around him as tightly as she could. "And I guess I love you too, you crazy idiot," she mumbled into his shoulder. "Geez, good, I was doubting you for a second there," Sugawara joked. [y/n] pulled back and kissed his lips softly. "Come in, we can order your first terrible American takeout" she said. Sugawara took her hand and followed her inside. "Sounds disgusting."
