Huh? No 'hello'? No 'sorry for the late text'?

I woke up oddly just two hours after Todoroki had texted me out of the blue. I still feel too awkward calling him by his first name...According to the small clock below my television, it was around two in the morning now. Could be an early or late time in your book depending on the day. The minute I got home I just passed out on the couch, somehow managing to eat some chips before, so my shirt was covered in them. Cue me letting out a loud groan. My head bobbed up and I ripped my shirt off, crumbs flying everywhere. Looks like I'd have to vacuum later. For now, to the shower it is. I walked to the shower only in a tank top, texting the boy back. I turned the knob to the shower. The water started spewing out and I gave it a second to warm up. I sent my text and got ready for this long ass shower I was going to take. Needed to get the strong smell of food off me.

Whatever do you mean?
2:05 AM

Once it finally warmed up just enough, I stepped in and felt the warm water go dripping onto my back. It was a nice feeling I could never get tired of.

I swung the shower curtain open immediately.

"The fuck...?" Water sprayed everywhere as I stared down at the message. "What's he still doing up? Oh well."

Automatically, I facepalmed.

I stepped out of the shower and ignored my phone buzzing with texts. I even heard a call at some point in which I ignored. Is he really that desperate to get a text out of me? I laughed to myself out loud and threw some lotion on and did my teeth while I finished up. Once I fully completed the whole shower routine, I committed to actually picking up my phone.

Be so for real...

The phone fully slipped out of my hands when I realized it wasn't Todoroki who was texting me that entire time.

Within a second of seeing those messages, I dialed up the number and got an immediate answer. I never made his number a contact for many completely good reasons.

"Looks like someone was awake this whole time," the guy on the other line yelled over the loud speakers in the bar.

"Ugh, put a sock in it Sakuya. Now where the fuck is my money?" I hit the counter of my sink, applying some deodorant while keeping a grip on the phone, annoyed.

"Woahhh, what's with the attitude? You're a real pushover. Now here. I'll tell you what you can do to get this buttload of cash..."

"I'm listening...!"

The tone in my voice immediately changed.

"Oh Sakuya I'm going to murder you..." I whispered to myself, staring at the big fancy jewelry shop in front of me.

If you haven't been keeping up with the book, Sakuya, was the only person who helped you out most of the time. He belongs to the gang you're in. He helped when times were rough or when you just needed a quick snack. Money-wise I guess I'd say. Not even your fake parents were generous with their money. They lived in their own small apartment and had a whole kid to feed so it's reasonable that they aren't. They didn't need to help me at all. Sakuya helped hook me up with some money so I didn't have to overwork myself and also because he just needed a buddy to go drinking with. Even if he did only ever drink a typical orange juice or sprite. What mattered most is that he helped you get there in the first place. Probably one of the only reasons you had stayed in the whole gang. Besides the fact that you'd probably be killed in a very gruesome way. The loans of money were great for you. Very beneficial. You didn't even have to lift a finger. You just passed by, drank a little, made some jokes, and even just recently helped with whole Yakuza situation. You would've never thought you'd be living such lavish.
(Small note: If anyone was thinking about shipping these two...don't lol. The dude is way older and I consider them to have a sibling relationship. Thanks in advance.)
