Every year, Korean news outlet Dispatch rings in the new year by revealing new celebrity couples to the public. Girls' Generation's Yoona and Lee Seung Gi, Big Bang's DongKwon and Red Velvet's Seulgi, GOT8's Xiang and Red Velvet's Irene, and EXO's KAI and BLACKPINK's Jennie all had their first reports come from Dispatch.
At the beginning of the year, Dispatch postponed the announcement of their new year couple without publishing the date they would be releasing the article until today when they published a series of photos of TXT's Jinyoung, 23 and IVE's Ahn Yujin, 20 on various dates. It is unclear when the two reportedly began dating but Dispach reported that Jinyoung started courting Yujin sometime in 2022.
